"whitty, can you get that please?" carol asked from the kitchen. "sure, carol!" whitty gets up from the mess of toys he was playing with on the floor and walks up to the door, and opens it. after looking up to see gabriel updike him-fucking-self, he panics and just- slams the door on his face. carol is startled by the slam of the door, and looks up to see whitty leaning his entire body on the door, trying to keep it closed. he looks scared. "who was that, whitty?" carol put down what she was doing and started to walk over to him. whitty just looks up at carol, scared for his life. whitty could only respond with one word. "him."
