Moth, dust, dagger, candle

Moth ❧ What do you find attractive in a person? - Basically being a nice human being to everyone. Don’t be rude, racist, treat service people badly, make nasty jokes, bully people, etc. Just be a good person and I will most likely like you.

Dust ❧ Talk about your past - This isn’t very specific… but um I guess I was born in St. Louis, I spent a year over seas, I’ve lived in 20+ houses/apartments, I lived in WI the longest and my dad passed away after loosing his battle to cancers and liver diseases. I mean I can tell crazy stories about my past but that’d take all day and I doubt many people want to hear about them (plus a few highlights are already mentioned in my about me page on my blog.)

Dagger ❧ Tell one secret you have. - Hmmm… One time I threw a rock at a window just to see what would happen and I broke the glass and I never told the house owner or anyone else at all and I still feel guilty about it to this day even though I was like 4 or 5 when it happened.

Candle ❧ what is your favorite scent? - I love this peppermint bark wax melt I just got during Christmas time. Its so lovely.

(So I answered this once already, got it all done and then tumblr and my internet crashed and I went and cried for a few days)

7. Do you like vanilla candles? Yes, very much. They smell so warm and calming and nice.

9. Would you ever bleach your hair platinum blonde? For a role in a TV show or Movie? Sure. Just for fun? Probably not.

11. What did you have for breakfast? Rice squares and soy milk. I know, so horribly exciting.

13. Who last slept in your bed besides you? Uh my sister. More or less actually its her bed, I just come crash there sometimes and flop on top of her to make her angry. Ahhh sisterly rivalry and love…

I found a gross white slimy blob on the bottom of my chestnut praline latte, and when I called coprorate they couldn't do anything about it because I have called about it before. What was the gross slimy thing? I didn't get whip cream.

No clue. I don’t work at Starbucks or really drink there. I’d guess maybe syrup left overs or solidified cream curd?  Probably nothing to worry about or worth calling corporate about.

Do actually know you're rights? Seems like you don't. Who cares if he got famous! It's him not you! Why do you let it bother you so much?!??

It’s not that he got famous. It’s that he, as a minor, got a photo taken and posted of him on the internet without consent. It’s that he was a retail worker doing his job, not a famous person who puts themselves on the spotlight. It’s that he’s now got teenage girls telling him that he’s ugly and that they want to screw him until he dies. That’s the problem.

You’re missing the entire point. I, as a person, have the right not to have my likeness posted on the internet without my expressed or written consent. I’m a photographer as a side job and I take photos of minors in a family photo setting. I have to have written and signed permission from the parents or guardians to post that minor’s likeness online in any way. Otherwise I can get into a ton of legal trouble since I use those photos as promotion from my work and they in an offhand way make me more money by getting me other jobs.

If you are in a public setting like on the street or at a party and it’s obvious that people will take photos of you and post them that’s not a problem. When you are at work, in your home, a doctor’s office, in a private place or in a place where you are not expecting a photo to be taken of you or have not given permission that is a violation of your privacy.

I think it’s you who don’t know your* (not you’re) rights and the fact that you’re bothered that I have an opinion about a 15 year old by being basically cyberbullied and sexualized against his will online really shows the kind of person you are.

If Alex were a girl everyone would be outraged that a girl was being sexually harassed and exploited against her will on the internet but because he’s a boy it’s suddenly ok? If that doesn’t bother you, you have a lot to learn kid.
