So uh, fun fact: I actually do have a LOT of the rest of the fic done, so I ended up pulling a little out of there! And also used than one line. Context and all.

3: what’s your favorite line of narration?

And yet, there’s a part of Masumi that genuinely hoped that a switch would suddenly flip, that it would all make sense and he could stop spending an absolutely stupid amount of time trying to figure himself out. How naïve of him. Maybe he hasn’t yet grown out of being the kid who thought maybe this time his parents would give him the time of day.

(From the next chapter, lol. That said Masumi shoving a granola bar in Tsuzuru’s mouth makes me laugh every time I reread it.)

4: What’s your favorite line of dialogue?

“But I think…I think there’s different ways to love someone, you know? It’s like…” What’s a good metaphor he could use? “Kiel’s love for Mirage isn’t like Romeo’s for Julius, and I don’t think either of them are like what people think of when talking about it, but that doesn’t mean it’s not some kind of love!”

8. Is there a story idea in your mental vault that you’ve never been brave enough to try writing? Is this the year? Can you tell us about it?

oooo! not so much "never been brave enough" as it has been "just never found the time" but there's a few longer/more complex things i'd like to write this year!!!

in no particular order:

i really want to get more stuff done for tkana!!! been working on this bitch since 2021 i really need to get the main bit out

TIME LOOPY. also been in the works since 2021 and i need to get this asshole out of my brain.

"the 10k sakumasu hanahaki au slash masumi character study" which will absolutely be more than 10k

"hell au" which is borderline indescribable because "a3 but it's dqxi but only slightly because i started taking extreme liberties to the point that it might not be recognizable as based on dqxi unless i outright tell you" is. well.

snow day for tzmskz snowball fight silliness, shoujo-esque for taimuku sillies, in the winter winds for tenmuku first date sillies, wake-up call for tsuzumisu just bein soft, background noise for what i can best describe as "tsuzumisu neurodivergent flirting"

tsuzuru's his fave member of spring troupe because tsuzuru hasn't tried to Fuckin Leave (yet) but he's not gonna tell anyone that uhhhh. very very physically affectionate and spring troupe loves to indulge him in this. hugs for the boy.
