Man Who Had Quit Job Believing 'Ache Din' Updates His Resume On Job Portal
New Delhi: A West Delhi resident today, uploaded a new resume on several job portals after much deliberation. The decision came after spending a month at home watching the prices on everything rise and being told a bitter pill was waiting.
“I had put in my resignation the day the results came out. I was so happy, we all were. So many friends lauded my decision and toasted my fortitude. Is it so surprising that they haven’t been returning my calls lately?”
The question was rhetorical so we didn’t answer.
“I was given a farewell party like no other. They even had confetti. For the first two weeks or so we were on cloud 9. The neighbours were talking to us. We had friends and family over gushing over how we were in for the time of our lives. How China would be begging us for our time, how Pakistan would cower and how Americans would clamour for our work visas. It does seem a bit much now that I think of it.”
Resumes have been uploaded and the formal wear has been ironed. Shoes have been polished and theory has been brushed up. Many interviews are clear and visible, in the future of our respondent.
“They said we won’t have to pay taxes because they would bring all the Black Money back.” He said as he we left.
