ruminating on the fact that every time catelyn sees robb so much as breathe she’s like “wow he’s just like his father” and like yeah he probably does resemble his father at this moment because he is fifteen years old and in charge of an army and his internal monologue is probably something like “what would dad do in this situation? okay i will do that.” he’s Playing a Role. he is inflicting psychological tortures on himself. because — and i cannot stress this enough — he is fifteen years old. this is something that his mother seems to take at face value but was obvious to a literal eight year old child when bran clocked this internal torment and started calling this version of his brother "robb the lord"

very good asoiaf german translation thing i enjoy: during catelyns chapters, when she speaks to robb, she uses the formal you to adress him, but in her thoughts towards him she uses the informal you...cries

1) implicated himself in a plot he didn't even know EXISTED,,,, 

2) unknowingly gave roose bolton the confirmation he needed to straight up merc the starks and 

3) gave him the fucking punchline to do it with.

Opinion so far: Daenerys and her whole plotline are taken from Tanith Lee, and thus are very much out of place in the rest of the book.
