Indifference Will Never Stop Child Abuse
We Are OUR CIRCLE, a group of individuals with similar values; but we all have one very important thing in common:
All Children deserve an equal chance to be Loved, Cared For, Have A Proper Diet, and Know That They Are Safe; and as they grow be taught Honor, Truth, Respect, Responsibility, and Duty in regard to themselves, others, and as young future citizens.
Every day we see the same people…

Thanks for answering my question! I was the high GPA third year student that's aiming for UCLA. You were right, I'm applying for Communications since I really wanna get into Entertainment Public Relations. I just had one more question....what clubs in PCC would you recommend I (a Communications major) join that'll reflect my passion/interest in the field on my app? I'm kind of lost when it comes to the clubs on campus.
Oh man! You just missed Club Week a couple days ago. That would have been a great opportunity for you to explore the different clubs on campus. Unfortunately, I don’t know what each club on campus does regularly, nor do I know all the clubs that exist on campus.
I do recommend joining the publicity committee on the ASPCC. A friend of mine is the VP for Public Relations of the ASPCC and the head of the committee. From what I’ve heard, the committee is very active in what it does (preparing press releases, designing and posting banners, flyers, brochures, and promoting web-based media for AS events).
Alpha Gamma Sigma, the honors society I’m currently part of, offers a publicity and newsletter committee you can also apply for.
Here’s a list of other reasons to join the club (which I shamelessly took from their website):
Networking with some of Pasadena City College’s best students
Listening to guest speakers discuss a variety of topics
Attending regional and statewide conferences and conventions
Joining events that build valuable leadership, planning, and teamwork skills
Finding out about prospective employment and work experience opportunities
Obtaining times to work with advisors and faculty for character recommendations
Showing distinction for permanent membership, who can wear the gold stole at Graduation
Recieving ΑΓΣ gold seal of membership for your diploma
Cultivating a heart of volunteerism and involvement, improving your Community
Obtaining Public recognition of your academic achievement and honor society membership
Hope this helps!
