I was wondering if you would be willing to write headcanons or a oneshot.
Hannibal with a daughter or a son who has aspd, and Hannibal suspects they have this disorder. Perhaps including the readers sadistic tendencies.
The readers age does not have to be specified, but i'm hoping it could mention the reader developing. (childhood, teenager, young adult)
If you're not up for this, that is okay. I love reading your fiction. 💝
Father Hannibal Lecter with a Daughter with ASPD (Fem! Reader) 🧠🐑
(TW: Brief mentions of self-harm and murder.)
Author's Note: Thank you immensely for this request, Anon! I made this with aspects of my Yandere Father Alphabet headcannons in mind, for a darker touch that is inherent to Hannibal. If anyone reading has Antisocial Personality Disorder, please inform me if this is a proper representation. The Hannibal here is not specified. The daughter's age is above nine. Enjoy.
Since early childhood, the traits were already very much visible; the chronic boredom - always requiring stimulus; the atypical emotional profile - much like his own; the difficulty connecting with anyone but Hannibal; the lack of remorse and disregard of anyone but Hannibal; the impulsivity; etc. You were already showing clear signs from as early as age three.
As opposed to Hannibal, your ASPD isn't a result of severe trauma - but genetic predisposition - as you've inherited it from your father.
Although you were showing the traits, he could not have certainty - as you were still developing, and you would need to be in your late-teen years, in order to have the traits properly settled.
As you grew older, your similarity to Hannibal grew more blatant, and he couldn't help but feel utter pride, by having his little lamb be so similar to him.
As much as he wishes for you to be able to have the most normal life possible, his natural instinct is to shape you into a small version of him, and possibly following the same path - or simply being his accomplice.
Hannibal is well-aware of what the chronic boredom can do to someone with ASPD, and he does his best to draw your intention away from harming yourself with reckless behavior.
A way of Hannibal helping you cope with your chronic boredom, is by having you spend a lot of your energy with sports that will let you release your cravings for violence, and also divert the attention from impulsive thoughts of self-harm. He has had you enrolled in martial arts classes since childhood. He also permits you to engage in activities that give you the adrenaline rush you require - but only if he's present.
Hannibal vehemently encourages you to unmask, as he also feels free to unmask fully, whenever he is with you. He accepts you and adores you as you are. He could never judge you, and he never wished you were anything different but what you are.
In his eyes, you are perfection, and he would never have you any other way. He feels safe to fully unmask with you, the same way you are able to feel safe to fully unmask with him. You are his exception, and he is yours.
Alongside martial arts, Hannibal helps you cope with your chronic boredom in ways other than sports, such as with reading, studying music, drawing, painting, cooking, etc.
Hannibal limits your access to things you could use to potentially intoxicate yourself with, such as alcohol and medicine.
Although he wishes for you to have a normal life, he would happily let you unleash your violent and primal cravings, following the same path as him, as a mini version of him. Hannibal's pride would be even greater, and he would do whatever was necessary to protect you from any inconvenient consequences.
Hannibal always reinforces you that morals are subjective, and that what he does is correct and fair in his eyes - no matter what the man-made law says.
If you happen to lie or manipulate others, Hannibal will find that to be amusing, and the flickers of pride would grow even greater, as he knows how similar the pair of you are.
Hannibal concentrates all of his affection on you, and you only, and he is always willing to do absolutely anything for you. You are his little lamb - a copy of himself - his little apprentice - whom he wishes to protect and also guide you through your life.
If you happen to have existential crises throughout your childhood and teenage years, Hannibal always reassures you that you are perfect the way you are - you are not a monster or an alien - you are simply human - you are like him. His beloved child is the most precious thing in his life.
