Can't sleep tonight gamers you know what that meeeeans, posting doodles that were never meant to see the light of day to kill time
Instead of getting Anything I wanted done tonight all of my art time went to beginning to manifest visions that have tormented me for two months, and to drawing the most half assed bird I've done in a While.
I don't really love how the sketch turned out but hey. Celebrating on the night one way or another. Yayyy he's dead. Kas looks like a fun little pirate in this fit, it's good for dressup
Thinking on and off about the idea of Asperia and Gortash having a project to alter the history of Ismene's life and ruin her reputation by "reevaluating" stories about her. New biographies, new interviews with people who "knew" her, objections raised by concerned members of the public over her depiction, on and on. Much of the false information is provided by Asperia (with a talent for muddying real Bhaalist histories and practices with his own idea of a deceitful traitor), and the dissemination of information is in the hands of Gortash. It's an undertaking Asperia takes vicious joy in: tear down the idol of the traitor and kill her in her own grave. And as far as Asperia is concerned, Gortash proposing it is an act of flattery to them- a gift, an offering. That it could come from a more personal hatred would never cross their mind.
did you guys know MS Paint has layers now
Thinking about how Kasander spent so much time lugging around armor they had no real experience with and that ugly ass shield they use during the game.... They may have lost the supernatural strength of Bhaal's Chosen but I do not doubt they built up new physical strength of their own. And that makes me happy :)
Coming to some kind of realization. Ruminating on some Kasperia traits (especially pre-canon) and like.
Supernatural speed and reflexes
Supernatural strength
Needs to kill regularly; experiences supernatural hunger when starved of death
Fears accidentally destroying fragile mortal object of affection because of appetite
Has consumed a part of the human body
Borderline immortal
Has a simpering and boundlessly loyal servant
Able to blend in with mundane people to walk among them unnoticed
Affinity with shadows
Affinity with blood
Fangs
This is. This is just a vampire. I'm reinventing vampires.
