Hey Cait! I'm Kae, and this is aspirationsHQ! This rpg is all about rewarding members for their activity by giving them muse money which they can use to buy resources, interviews or even celeb status! We were hoping you could maybe give us some advice on how to get people interested in modding the main or gossip blog? Thank you so extremely much in advance!

hi kae, i hope you don’t mind me posting this publicly ! if you do, just let me know and i’ll message you back privately ! you can find my long paragraph of rambling under the cut !

first off, your icon looks beautiful and the idea seems interesting ! so you’re looking for more admins and admins for your gossip blog, correct ? when it comes to finding admins to help out, i personally just ask friends / people i trust because of my own trust issues. if that isn’t the case, definitely just keep promoing ! the most important thing is to just put yourself out there as much as possible so you can reach the people that’d be interested. overall, however, my advice is when running a roleplay all admins should be decently active. on your admin application page it says you and the other admin have busy schedules and while it’s understandable we all have lives, in my opinion, admins should be one of the, if not the most active people in the roleplay. if you’re going 3+ days without logging on ( which is the typical activity limit in the rpc ) then maybe it’s not the right timing for your schedules because that itself will turn people away from wanting to commit to what appears to be a sinking ship. i also think admins should definitely set the standard that the roleplay runs by and if the admins aren’t active then neither will the members. that being said, advertising is your best bet with finding helpful people who want to potentially admin. with a gossip blog, i usually wait until my roleplay is open to establish that so a member is running it with perhaps one or two other people. running a gossip blog has a bunch of rules by itself which is an entirely other conversation. the thing you don’t want is people outside of the roleplay running the gossip blog. while they might have an unbias advantage, they don’t have that “inside scoop” they need to bring their best A game to gossip. anyway, i think that’s about it ! there’s not much advice when scoping out admins, it’s pretty much the same basis as members. promo, ask for shoutouts, let yourself be known. i hope i helped and good luck with your search !
