Working at the Explorer’s Guild was one of Lily’s more enjoyable jobs. As well as being able to converse with coworkers who had similar interests to her, she could keep an eye on any voyages or requests that were available so she would be one of the first to know of any potential adventures. It was important to stay in the know, because even with all of the places on Arcadia and Leuda to explore already, she’d also heard of the weird events that could occur as quickly as overnight.
However, one of the more boring aspects of the job was the paperwork. There was a lot of administrative work that went into allowing voyages to happen, especially those that required boats off the guild. Lily was just headed to the office to file some paperwork on a boat that had taken some damage on a recent voyage when she spotted a man frowning at one of their notice boards.
Relieved by the opportunity to take a break from admin, she approached him and asked, “Can I help you with anything?”
