My ADHD-addled brain would not let me sleep last night, because it latched onto the angsty-ass thought 'AU where Beefleaf was Shen Jiu's biological parents.'

Shi Qingxuan was pregnant when they lost their Godhood, and He Xuan was unaware. They eventually gave birth, but passed away from postpartum complications, leaving the newborn, who would become Shen Jiu, as a child of the streets.
