By the way being tall has benefits. He is good at and therefore in charge of repairing things in the dorm e.g. replacing the light bulb
Speaking of hands-on skills, Mingyu’s often praised for that. He enjoys making models and figurines and is (self-proclaimed that he’s) skilled at it
He’s also the hairstylist in Seventeen. No kidding, it’s even verified among the members on ASC! And just watch him walking around in Andromeda trying to fix the members’ hair
He’s pretty great at cooking (at least better than me) and being the shikshin of Seventeen he obviously knows what’s quality food (think cheese curry baked rice omgawd my stomach) and how to make it
Mingyu’s drawing skills can really wow us like in the least expected times e.g. Show Champion backstage where he sketched this entire ‘lonely’ concept? And in Boys Be Diary too! I personally think sketching is his forte plus he captures the shading and angles pretty well~
He has a bright personality, not the radiant existence of the Sun aka Seokmin, but the type that warms your hearts

He can be terribly cheesy to the fans but it’s super sweet at the same time? He once tweeted (just before a guerilla fanmeeting) asking “wanna meet up? I asked my manager for permission and he said yes!”

Yes Mingyu is (and treats himself as) basically the entire fandom’s boyfriend so he has to be shielded from harm at all cost
He’s also super humble by saying he aspires to be the visual cuz the members are handsome so he isn’t the visual

Basically, I’m sorry you have to read such a long list because this video at the fansign sums most of it up already. He can rap, he can sing, he can do modelling, he can dance... What can he not do (besides meeting our hygiene standards)?
