Trying this finish for Grandpa's shotgun. So far, I am unimpressed with the results, but I have yet to card off the excess finish and polish the last coat. If this last coat does not turn out like I would like, I'm going to take down the metal once again and either Duracoat or Cerakote the barrel and receiver. Last day of vacation has been spent been spent working on improving, or rather fixing, a Marlin Guide Gun in 45-70. I have to say that I am rather disappointed in Marlin for letting this firearm ever leave the factory.
