Asra - Coming Home From A Long Trip
• He missed you so much.
• No no, really. He missed you sooooo much.
• So much that this is genuinely an understatement.
• You’d be at the shop one day, minding your own business.
• At that moment, you would hear the bell jangle, signalling the door opening.
• You would turn your head to greet the supposed customer, a rehearsed smile on your face.
• And that’s when you would see him.
• The person you loved and missed so much, violet hues gazing at you with such tenderness, a soft smile on his lips.
• You would only be able to stare back wide-eyed in disbelief before you face crumpled as tears formed in your eyes.
• Running forward, you would embrace the magician in a tight hug, and he would return it, gently petting your head.
• “I’m home, my love”
• After spending some much needed time cuddling and holding each other close, I picture you and him drinking some tea by the fire.
• You would be listening intently with a grin on your face as Asra excitedly tells you all about his recent escapades.
• At one point, however, you would start to grow sleepy.
• The magician would stop mid-sentence when Faust pokes him.
• “Asleep”
• He would look at you, surprised.
• But he wouldn’t complain.
• He had been around the world, seen so many wonderful and magical places.
• But none would ever be as beautiful as your sleeping face, so peaceful and messy, with all your hair displaced.
• Asra would walk over and crouch beside you, brushing the hair out of your face in a feather-like motion before placing a kiss to your temple.
• Then he would carefully scoop you up in your arms and carry you to bed, thankful to be reunited with his love once more.
