Realistic Laughing Jack Dating Headcanons (SFW and NSFW)

- He doesn’t really do normal human relationships because he is not human to begin with

-The actual concept of human romantic love requires the advanced theory of mind (understanding that your partner is a separate individual with their own thoughts, feelings etc.) as well as the imagination of a shared future, the desire to put in the work to become better together

-Laughing Jack‘s type of love because he is not human would most likely be something closer to how animals choose their mate

-Despite probably lacking the ability to produce hormones to feel love and affection (such as oxytocin) he would express his love through something like mate-guarding. He is possessive to a fault protecting whoever he claims as his from rivals to secure them

-He‘s not particularly interested in looking for a partner because generally speaking he looks at humans with contempt but when he finds someone he thinks is interesting enough he metaphorically and literally sinks teeth and claws into them

-The concept of „partners for life“ becomes very eerie all of the sudden because he literally means the rest of your life however long that might be around him

-Being with him would include him watching over you at all times. He hates being abandoned and he would hate if something happened to his little darling when he is not around

-He would force his way into your head even at night when you try to sleep he is there. Your dreams are filled with the sound of off-key nursery rhymes, the sound of flies. Even when you wake up you still smell blood and burnt sugar

-I do think realistically speaking it would take a specific sort of person to find sex with him pleasurable not because his physical body can’t provide pleasure but because it is never just pleasure it’s literal mindfuck at the same time with pretty much no way out

I'm thinking of a better plot line. Re reading it it didn't make sense as the chapters went on.

How could a creature, who has the ability that is that of a god be contained and destroyed by a box?. A box that is not his prison anymore, and he is free to roam around the world for 300 years?, the box is not his heart, it isn't his lifeline. He is no dependent on it when hunting.

That is why his origin story never made sense to me back in the day. Zero.
