Common sense told her this was a bad idea. If it weren’t, the two of them would have acted on these urges years ago but, God, the second his lips touched hers all common sense went out the window. He’d probably regret this, stop at any moment with an apology and a look so sincere she’d have no choice to forgive him. But, if this was the only chance she was gonna get to touch him like this,she ran a hand through his hair,  she was damn well gonna make the most of it.

"You know, they that the female superheroes have a monopoly on the tight revealing costumes but you went from the short pants to...this." Roy glanced up and down  and smirked. "I mean seriously, it's been years and I still don't know how you manage to  wiggle in and out of that thing."

Meet Me By The Window

   Finally back in the small apartment she calls home, Genevieve kicked off her heels and turned on her record player. The needle slowly eased onto the record and the rugged notes of When The Levee Breaks poured from the speakers. She began to unwind, closing her eyes for a moment as she began to remove the smoky clothes from work. Unconsciously she never closed the curtains when she undressed; after all, confidence is one of her strongest attributes. Rounding the corner of her bed her hands began to lift the shirt over her torso when her peripherals caught someone in the mirroring window. The ridiculously attractive guy she'd only seen once or twice before was staring back at her.

It was another night, and Dick had left bed to lay on the floor, he still wasn't used to the soft plush of the bed. He groan as Biscuit came to sniff his face, "Ugh.. Biscuiiiit"

"She wants you up in bed, like you should be." Barbara mumbled from her side of the bed, hitting the bed with two taps, signalling Biscuit to come. The pup whined at the command and licked Dick's cheek before scurrying over to Barbara.

Hurriedly, Barbara tried to wipe the tears from her eyes, but she knew it was useless and that he'd be able to tell she had been crying. As soon as his arms were around her, she clutched at his shirt, burying her head in the crook of his neck. "M'sorry....so sorry."
