three years in the making and i'm finally done with my dishonored tarot deck

it was an insane project which started as a simple color practice back in september 2021 and grew into 81 illustrations. i feel like i learned so much and changed a lot in these years. dishonored is such an inspirational game and im so so glad i never gave up on this project. im gonna remember it fondly.

Everything Daud says while in the Void

Now everything is gone. The void is stripping it away.

I see each moment of my life slipping from my fingers. It frightens me.

Where is my mother? This place...this place. Where is my mother?

She had so many names, all spoken softly. I didn’t know which one to use.

I remember her hands. She pinched my cheek whenever she didn’t want me to forget something she said.

She had hair like black smoke. Her eyes were warm. She smelled like those flowers that only open up at night.

She sang me her mother’s songs when I was a boy. I lost them all. I lost her voice. If I could hear those songs again...

She died the day I left her side. She died each time I let the thoughts of her fade away.

I hoped I would find her here but I don’t remember her face.

I lost her forever. The void took her away.

All the things I had have turned to ash. Swept away by pale winds. All that’s left are these wounds.

Yep, you bastard. You knew. You took everything from me. You knew. You knew.

I don’t know if this is a wip or if I’ll never touch it ever again ever, but I sincerely hope Daud will fuck the overrated black-eyed twink up.

Edit- touched it and that's all I'll do to it ever.
