Thoughts on pg. 63-73
While reading I got the impression that he was reflecting on his mom and her life. He started by looking at the photo of her as a child with her brother and I thought that he was thinking about how his mom isn't the same today. In the photo she was innocent and naive. When he looked the Winter Garden photo, his mom was a totally different person, not who was in the previous picture. In the Winter Garden photo, his mom was sick and fragile. He remembers how he had to take care of her all the time and he didn't get to do all the things he wanted to do. This made him realize how photography changed his life and how one photograph holds meaning in it. It means something different to everyone.
