Reblog and describe the different duties you’ve been given as an assistant director. Across the board it seems to be a very vague title with responsibilities differing with every show/director/company. But I’m just curious.
Director: "What does precision mean?" Kid: "Precision" Director: "No, don't define a word with itself"

Oh man, tonight’s rehearsal was rough. But! A little bit that I suggested our director really liked, so that’s in the show now 😊
Both of our Mary’s weren’t feeling well today, so after going through a few quick choreography things we sent them home. Then we were running Jolly Holiday with the rest of the cast, and since we had no Mary I sang it for her.
I’m not a soprano, but it actually sounded pretty good! I was kinda impressed with myself :)
