The constant disrespect and deadnaming of "Birdo" in Mario materials both within and outside of Japan is pretty frustrating. It's been handled so poorly, and honestly I hate that "Birdo" is still how we refer to her. I get that this is overall a very small issue, but it bothers me a lot. But I can't call her "Catherine" or "Cathy" in casual conversation, because nobody gets it.
I think we, as a society, don't give enough credence to just how many ports of Cave Story there are. "Haha can it run Doom?" Probably, but did somebody take the time out of their life to lovingly create a native port of everybody's favorite Doukutsu Monogatari?

I'm not the first person to say this, but I wish there was a "Block Post" button. I like this mutual, or this person I follow, but god I hate this post. This one was really bad, I don't ever want to see this on my dash when I look at Blog I Like Following. Also useful for popular posts that you just hate seeing on your dash.
