Located in the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències (City of Arts and Sciences), Serreria Bridge stands 125m tall (making it the tallest point in Valencia) gleaming in its bright white coating and integrating spectacularly with the similarly unique and hyper-modern buildings in the surrounding area. Its designer, Santiago Calatrava, curved the single pylon backwards and added 29 parallel supporting cables to support the bridge deck. At night, the pylon and are accented by spotlights around the bridge, giving another dimension to the structure.
