I am old, I am tired. You can call me Astarox. I go by she/her irl cause it saves me a bunch of headaches, but they/them feels a bit more accurate, since I am a bunch of rabid bats inhabiting a black dress. Both options are fine, however. Queer.

Here's what you will most likely find here (I will keep this updated with my current obsessions):
music (post punk, darkwave, dark synth-pop, ebm, gothic rock and deathrock, new wave, punk, no wave, some metal);
#my art;
fandoms (Arcane, Baldur's Gate 3, Interview with the Vampire/The Vampire Chronicles, Mass Effect, Disco Elysium, the first 2 Dragon Age games, JJBA, possibly some SPN, but I've never finished it);
vampire shit (I never grew out of that phase, sorry mom);
rambling (tagged as #astaroth rambles formerly #dawn's corner);
animals (COOL BUGS);
movies (I currently have the Vincent Price brain worms);
possibly books, possibly some of my academic interests (classical studies);
random aesthetic shit, if I feel like it (#omg me).
I tag most of the adult things as #nsfw.
MY OCs:
Dawn: Baldur's Gate 3 - Origin Companion (tag #my oc: dawn) - WIP ⚠️
In honour of my babygirl Lestat, this pride month I am embracing my toxic and dramatic side.
I will also begin calling everything I make "Failure".
Is "I am going to make you miss my flaws" a valid sentiment? /j
I want to partecipate in the TVL fandom madness, but my creativity is at the lowest point ever.
The first episode of TVL was pretty spot on for me. What I mean is that I remember when I was 13/14, reading "The Vampire Lestat" for the first time, right after finishing "Interview with the Vampire". I was disappointed that Lestat was the protagonist (I love you, unreliable narrator Louis), and veeeery skeptical about the whole "I am a rockstar" thing. "A vampire rockstar, seriously? Modern day rockstar? Ugh. Is this going to be bad? What was Anne Rice on when she wrote this??"
The first episode of the show pretty much managed to convey the same sense of disorientation as the first pages of the novel. I can't wait to see how they move forward with it.
And Sam Reid is amazing.
I will be tagging my TVL/IWTV season 3 related stuff as #tvl spoilers.
I am obsessed.
I have been playing Paralives and I am so excited for future updates. It was worth it waiting all these years: it already feels like a complete game, even if it's just an early access release (especially considering its mainstream competitors).
