I haven't played the first bauldars gate game but Ik it takes place a little over a hundred years befor BG3. that means if you do play ot canonically astarion is being torchered some where at the same time your doing dnd stuff, and people wonder why he's bitter.

Becuse he says "befor a grey fangs and my eyes truned red" WITCH THEY ARE RED BUT NOT LIKE THAT. There's no outher coment about the eyes or how all the outher spawn looking like that I'd fucking werid. I need him to know that that's not what he looks like so fucking bad.

Astarion parent head cannons

Talking about post game spawn astarion AA wouldnt have kids he has army's of spawn.

I think Astarion's big parenting flaw is he is such a consent king and freedom is the most important thing at all cost that it would lean into permissive parenting. Like in modern times he wouldnt want to get shots becuse the baby dosnt like it and not wanting to get baby to eat veggies they dont want. Basicaly parent 2 has to play bad cop. On the flip side he'd be the coolest cool dad. He'd the first to teach a kid self defense and to take them to see high art as soon as they can walk.

Now is he the most emotionaly supostive well no if kid was like "Jimmy pushed me" he'd be like "you want me to kill jimmy". He would also have a bad habit of being like did you know back in my day I got torchered I think Sally taunting is small potatoes. But then still offer to kill Sally.

Though when push comes to shove he is good at being supportive evidence being when durge gets possessed and he's very good about it.

He also will never want to leave the baby he'd rather take the baby on murder adventure then leave it with the baby sitter. He'd be very worried about the what if's with him gone. When they grow up and move he will cry alot.

The real question is would he do gross things and the answer is yes but he'll make a show of it.
