If Husk died in his 50s/60s and Alastor died in his 20's/30's then Husk lived though Jim Crow laws longer than Alastor did.

Husk died late 60s early 70s. 1964 is when Civils right act passed. Which means if Husk was 60 when he died than he spend 55 years liveing under Jim crow laws.

And I'm asumeing Husk is black. Like tenicaly his race doesn't have to math his voice actor but like it's pretty much just keith David's actual voice. Like it would be werid if he wasnt.

Anyways I think Husk and Alastor have more in common than either of them would like to admit.

Alastor calling Vox Vincent means he knows the events we see in brighter. I think this mean Alastor always expected Vox to betray him. I don't think he ever expected him and Vox to last. The irony is that Vox wasn't even trying to betray him then he just wanted to be around Alastor. Which Alastor just wanted to be around Vox that's why he was in there doomed situationship.

Alastor: today's the day Vox betrays me.

Vox: I just want Alastor to move in with me.

The miscommunication is nuclear.

Ah yes Niffty and Alastor.

Niffty litterly talks about how got she thinks men are hot constantly. No one sees her as sexual.

Alastor doesn't ever say anything remotely sujesting he's intrested in sex, has truned down angel twice AND is littely canonically ace. Is very sexualized.

They are the perfect duo.

I love hazbin because of how many uncomfortable morality questions it asks. Like I'm serious I can't think of anouther show that asks more controversial questions about morality it's self.

Like the premises is who gets to be redeemed and how does that happen.

And like Pentious is arguably the most morally stright forward. Befor he let people die now he is willing to sacrifice himself for outhers. Meanwhile how do you redeem a murder?

But also what does it mean to have relationships when everyone around you is like morally awful.

Like do you hold them to a standard they seem unable to keep or except them as they are? Do you try to not have relationships at all?

How can you trust anyone at all when you know they where sent to hell for a reason litterly judged by the universe to be bad? How can you trust yourself after realize you'd been sent to hell?

I really think Vox's cult was based on being anti censorship especially with the hays code.

The hays code started 1934 the year after Alastor died. It heavily limited what could be show on tv and movies. It was ineffective untill the 1960s after Vox died. You think Vox would sit there and let someone else tell him what he can ot can't do. Fuck no.

The cold war also started in 1947 and with it people being called gay communist left and right. Like the censorship and ober reaching control was crazy. I say gay communities becuse the lavender scare was also part of this. Which agin Vox might have been in denial about being bi but he wasn't about to let someone else say who he can fuck.

Lots of people where very unhappy about all of that and Vox could easily use that to create a "movement" for a "new entertainment" out side of the ridged censorship.

After being manhanddled like with simple STRENGHT, not even Magic, Husk went from loving Angel to wordshipping him because Holy shit girl You are so fucking strong to having dealt with this mf, despite being an regular ass Sinner.

Yeah Val doesn't even uses his powers half the time. Which if it works like venom that might be becuse he only has so much of it and it takes energy to make. Anyways point being he doesn't need the to body a bitch.

He will just throw a bitch into the wall. Like not useing there powers Vox and Alastor can't do that. Val has this insain raw strength and he's not afraid to uses it.

I do love how hazbin never entertains the idea that Vox might win but it does scare us with how much damage he will do on his way out. Like we know a the audance there will be at least 4 seasons when season 2 was released so so Vox winning isn't possible.

What is possible is how much damage he can do while he's on stage. All of the tention is will hurt Alastor?, Will he hurt lucifer?, Will he hurt Angel?, Will he break up the Vees?, Will he break up Husk and Angel (tenicaly he managed that).

The long term consiqensess for season to is primarily that Angel is no longer at the hotel. We also don't know yet if Alastor or Lucifer well have truama related to Vox. As well as Val being encharge of the Vees now and we know Val is worse than Vox.

End of the world plots suck becuase you KNOW the world cant end. This avoids it because it constantly teases that Vox wont win but we know Vox is a crazy bitch and will try to take anyone near him down with him. Which he litterly does.

I think Alastor sees Husk as a worse case snario of himself and Vox sees Angel as a worst case sanrio of himself.

Let me explain.

So Alastor is most insecure about geting himself stuck in this soul deal to gain power. Husk soul his soul to him SPEFICALY to save the power he had earned himself. Husk nearly lost his power by lacking self control something Alastor values above all else. Husk falling stright into Alastor's control is proof to Alastor he has made the right choices. Thoughs choices being being in a deal with a out and not accepting Vox's partnership. Alastor sees Husk's situation as entirely his own fault. That if Husk had just be more careful and more clever he would have never needed Alastor's help at all. He also sees his situation with Rosie as his own fault and that he should have been more clever to avoid it. This is why Alastor kind of resents Husk even though he is litterly the one who saved Husks power. Husk doesn't "desver" it. Alastor had to fight tooth and nail and from Alastor's perpective Husk is being protected for nearly free.

Vox wants fame more than anything. He wants to be loved universally. This is exactly what Angel gets as his end of the deal with Val. Angel is the most beloved sinner in hell. Thats why Vox needs Angel to publicly suport him the people listen to Angel dust. This fame is of course bought for the price of his persistent abuse. Angel is traped under the heel of Val. Vox never let himself get trapped under anyone he litterly killed anyone he could. Angels situation proves to Vox that takeing the murder route was infact a good idea actually. That him being cut thought and throwing anyone in his way to the sharks kept him safe. Meanwhile Angel got his fame the "right way" by working with some one and it got him completly fucked over. This is why he hates to see Angel winning becuse he thinks Angel got his fame the "wrong way".

I am iriated that 9/10 times when people bring up the sceen where Vox beats the shit out of Angel it is just to mention how hot Vox is in it. Which yes ok he is hot in it but like guys come on. This shot is litterly parralleing the sceen of him and Val form season 1 that's right befor poison.

Like it is beat for beat the same.
