Ratchet x Talwyn's Kids' NEW Design

I have decided to change up some features on how I vision TalChet next gen offsprings' appearances

Rockett Kaden Apogee:

·He looks like a Lombax except his fur is shorter and very smooth.

·Lombax-shaped feet.

·Ears are like Lombax with an opening at the center due to his markazian genes.

·His tail is like markazian's only with a Lombax tuft at the end.

·Apricot fur. (His mom's Markazian skin is always apricot-colored in her game appearances.)

´Auburn-brown Lombax stripes. (Just like his dad's.)

·Pale peach Markazian spots.

·And heterochromia eyes, right eye is green (like Ratchet's eyes) and left eye is sky blue (like Talwyn's).

Astera Maxine Apogee:

·Pastel pink Markazian skin. *In the canon R&C comics published by DC, Markazians including Talwyn seemed to have depicted light pink skin. I'm going to headcanon that Max Apogee's ex-girlfriend aka Talwyn's egg donor who never wanted her and Max's daughter has pink skin, but Astera's is way pretty.*

·Markazian bubblegum pink spots.

·Yellow Lombax ears.

·Yellow Lombax tail.

·Orange stripes on ears, tail, arms and legs.

·Brown hair with natural blonde-reflection. *My other headcanon is that Talwyn's late paternal grandmother Electra Shield was a blonde spitting image of her granddaughter. That's how great-granddaughter Astera inherited her natural blonde reflections that are often mistaken as ombré.*

·And sectoral heterochromia eyes, green below and pink above. *While green is from the eyes of her dad and Kaden, her late paternal grandfather, I also have a headcanon that Astera actually inherited the top pink of her eyes from her late paternal grandmother whom I call Stella. Imagine Ratchet's mother had beautiful pink eyes.*

Calix Zander Apogee

·Appearance of a Lombax with dandelion yellow fur.

·Brown Lombax stripes.

·Deep saffron Markazian spots.

·Light brown spiky hair.

·His ears and tail are of a Markazian except furry due to his lombax genes.

·And finally, his eyes are central heterochromia eyes. The outer rings are sky blue (like his mom's, maternal grandpa's and maternal great-grandma's). While the inner rings happen to be red, which was inherited from Travis Apogee, who in my other headcanon was Max's father who passed away when Travis' girlfriend Electra was still pregnant with their son. And Talwyn's grandfather had red eyes.

How Ratchet & Talwyn's Kids Got Their names

Rockett Apogee: He's named Rockett because his mother Talwyn loves the idea of her first son having a name nearly similar to his father Ratchet. The couple also added an extra T at the end for the fun of it. However, the biggest reason for his name is that a rocket symbolizes such great and fast things including ambition, speed, ascent, rapid growth, progress, exploration, and a high desire to achieve. And his middle name is Kaden, which has multiple meanings: "Companion", "Friend", "Fighter", "Battle", "Round", and "Gentle". The origins are Arabic, German, Scottish, and Irish. Rockett received his middle name in honor of his late paternal grandfather Kaden. Full name of Ratchet and Talwyn's oldest and first son: Rockett Kaden Apogee!

Astera Apogee: Her first name Astera is a girl's name of Greek and Latin origin that means "Star", it can also mean "Celestial Bodies" and "Brightness". Astera is also like the star flower Aster, which I headcanon as Talwyn's favorite flower. She's named Astera due to her parents (mostly Tal) being fond of stars. Plus whenever Ratchet would give Talwyn a bouquet, he would always give her only asters. The flower aster is indeed star-shaped. Plus, I now have a headcanon that the name of Ratchet's late mother was Stella, which also means "Star" in Latin, therefore Astera could also have her name mean "Star" like her late paternal grandmother. And now Astera's middle name is Maxine, and it's of English origin that derives from Latin name Maximus that means "Greatest". Also, the middle name that she gained is, of course, after her maternal grandfather Max Apogee. Full name of Ratchet and Talwyn's middle child and only daughter: Astera Maxine Apogee!

Calix Apogee: Finally, Calix. His name means "Very Handsome", "Very Wonderful", and "Very Beautiful" in Greek. As for his middle name, it is Zander, which is also Greek with the meaning of "Defender of People/Men". It's quite similar to Alexandros that is derived from words alexein meaning "To Defend" and andros meaning "Man" and "Warrior". However, there is a very beloved reason for why Calix's first name starts with a C while his middle name starts with a Z. First off, Zander, his middle name starts with a Z as tribute to Zephyr (RIP). And secondly, Calix has a C name because of not only as a dedication to Cronk (may he also rest in peace), but it was especially because of Clank who's the number one reason for his second adoptive nephew's name starting with a C. While It's for both Cronk and Zephyr, it is the ultimate honor for uncle Clank! Full name of Ratchet and Talwyn's youngest and second son: Calix Zander Apogee!

Ratchet and Talwyn's kids

I thought that it would be nice for me to share with you fellow talchet fans the fankids that I've came up with for Ratchet and Talwyn.

They have 3 kids who are hybrids of half-lombax and half-markazian. Born to a lombax father (Ratchet) and markazian mother (Talwyn).

Ratchet and Talwyn have 2 sons and 1 daughter.

The eldest is son Rockett. Middle name: Kaden. He looks mostly like a lombax except for some different features) his fur is much shorter than any of the fur on full-blooded lombaxes, and his really short fur is way smooth. The color of his fur is a very pinkish pale color. 2) He has a markazian tail that has lombax stripes. 3) Markazian spots on his body. And 4) his ears are like a fushion between lombax and markazian, like they may look like ears of a lombax, but there is an opening in the middle due to his markazian genes. His lombax stripes are brownish orange while his markazian spots are pale peach. And he has heterochromia eyes, right eye is apple green like his father's eyes and left eye is sky blue like his mother's. Ratchet and Talwyn's first son Rockett Kaden was born April 22, (Earth Day) 5370. 🔫🚀💥 Note: Until Insomniac's confirmation of timeskip between Into the Nexus and Rift Apart, I'm going to assume that Ratchet was either 29 or 30 in RA for now.

The middle child is daughter Astera. Middle name: Maxine. She only looks like a pale skinned markazian with yellow-orange lombax ears and lion-like tail that has orange stripes. She also has lombax stripes on her arms and legs. Her markazian spots are of a baby pink color. Her appearance is strongly inspired by anime cat girls. Her hair color is brown with a beautiful yellow blonde reflection that is often mistaken as hair dye when in reality, she was born with that magical looking hair. And her eyes are also heterochromia except they're sectoral heterochromia. Her eyes are top pink and bottom green. I recently came up with this headcanon that her late paternal grandmother had sectoral eyes too. They were top pink and bottom red though. Therefore, she has the eyes of her daddy and late paternal grandparents combined. Ratchet and Talwyn's only daughter Astera Maxine was born July 7, (Tanabata day in Japan) 5374. 🌼⭐🔧

And finally, the youngest is another son, Calix. Middle name: Zander. He looks like a lombax with markazian ears. His ears; however, are like a furry version of a markazian's ears. Like his big brother, his fur way shorter and smooth as a half-lombax. His tail is of a lion-like lombax. His fur color is orange, which I also headcanon that either as an inherited trait from his late grandma or a mixed color due to his dad's orange-tinted yellow fur and his mom's pinkish pale skin. The color of his lombax stripes are brown while color of his markazian spots are orange-tan. He has light brown hair. And like his two older siblings, he also has heterochromia eyes except his are central heterochromia. The outer rings are blue like his mother's and possibly maternal grandfather's eyes, and the inner rings are red like the bottom of his paternal granny's sectoral heterochromia eyes. Ratchet and Talwyn's second son Calix Zander was born August 8, (date of the Lion's Gate Portal of 2024) 5378. 🦁🪐🌌
