My largest miniature yet and certainly the most densely constructed. This piece took me 5 months, chipped through well over 1k blades, 4 pads of bristol paper, countless sheets of cardstock, 3 bottles of glue, 48 LEDs, and a liter of clear cast resin. For scale photo scroll all the way down!

MHW Players... I gave The Huntsman a granddaughter. I decided the Field Team Leader needs more new world friends.

She's very insecure I fear. But her grandpa loves her and she uses a longsword just like him. That being said I was NOT ready for how fast you kill things with long swords... I'm a glaive main.

Now that they had a longer dialogue scene in the last chapter, here's Penn, Astera, and Fern! I drew Fern first which is why they have a little more detail to them and less cartoony proportions kinda, and the other two were doodled hastily on another day lol

I may tweak Astera's eyes to be a big brighter and maybe Penn could have some flair on his laptop bag, hmm...

Minor spoilers for Ashoka

Yknow I think fucking STAR WARS of all things has re-sparked my motivation for writing Paintings. I genuinely had NO urge to work on it for months, but after watching Ashoka, and seeing the dynamic between Sabine and Ezra, and how they are SO head over heels for each other, it’s ignited the desire to write romance.
