JackRabbit Week Day 1
Friday 13 -FIRSTS/BEGINNINGS
first meetings, first date, first fight, beginning of the rest of their lives…
When Jack learned about his powers, he knew that things would not be boring for him. Being invisible to everyone plus the icy cold powers proved to be the perfect tools to fuel Jack's prankster ways. Frozen roadways, frozen pipelines, anything that Jack could get away with, he would freeze. The freezing was often followed by a cackle and a gust of wind as he made his getaway.
While he did enjoy pulling his pranks, sometimes he needed to continue to develop his powers. He often retreated to the woods to do so. Running his staff along the trees and the ground, he watched the ice flow and shape into different shapes and patterns. It was a perfect day for someone who was always alone.
"Oi. Who'da ya think you are?"
Jack almost fell out of a tree when he heard a sound. He turned around to make sure that the question of who he was was intended him. His eyes widened when he saw the source of the voice, however.
"No way..." He started as he jumped down from the tree to get a closer look. "Are you...the Easter Bunny?" Jack asked as a smile crept on his face. "I can't believe you are real."
"Yeah, I am." The bunny responded. "Who're you?" He asked repeating his previous question.
After examining the bunny some more, and hesitating on answering the question, Jack decided to speak. "My name is Jack Frost." He opened his mouth to say more, but decided against it.
"So, you're really the Easter Bunny?" Jack asked again. "Can you show me where you paint your eggs?" Jack asked. Now that he knew the Easter Bunny was real, he knew that there had to be a special place where all of this happened, and he was determined to see it.
"I don' think I want ya makin' my Warren all snowy. Not this time kid. Watch what yer doin'. It better not snow anytime near Easter, ya hear me?" Bunny answered, to which Jack rolled his eyes.
Jack let out a sigh as he watched the bunny prance off; his eyes remained fixed on him until he was out of sight. Jack shook his head and took off into the air. He was determined to find a way to see the painting of the eggs and to see the Easter Bunny once again...even if it called for drastic measures.
