“You know, to be invited here is an honor in itself. So please excuse me if you find me to be a bit beside myself.” Faust always seemed to know when it was proper to lay on compliments to best satisfy his current host. However this was one of the rare ones that were truly genuine or at least with no ulterior motive in mind. Faust had some knowledge of the other empires outside of his home one as is natural for someone in his position. The empress of Tilaren was shrouded in mystery for the most part. There were rumors certainly but Faust was not a man to rely simply on rumors. Still, the idea that she was a woman of the stars; celestial bodies that he often decorated himself with. Forms that inspired hope in him as much as it inspire a hopeless in existing. 

Seeing her in person however, was quite different from his expectations. Even when she was presented amongst the other world leaders, she didn’t seem quite as... small. He chalked it up to his own antiquated thinking and pushed those thoughts to the side. He still had a job to do after all. “I do hope I’m not taking up too much of your time with this little visit. Would you mind if I entertain you with a tarot reading?” It would certainly be interesting to see what the cards would say about someone such as her.
