‘TIS THE SEASON NERDS! It’s time to gather for the holidays! You will be traveling back to Olympia for this ball once again. The shadowed suits who now have antlers with lights and bells hanging from them, will be your escorts again. You will be brought to the glass palace, according decorated for the season! The dining hall is brimmed with everyone’s holiday favorites & if yours happens to be the single weird thing no one makes, feel free to request it over at the dining hall!
On the 25th is the Day of Giving, so feel free to bring gifts for friends & enemies alike! However, violence is strongly discouraged & will be met with cruel & unusual punishment by the shadowed suits. There is also a single present for each of you, given by an anonymous benefactor and impractically boxed in mirrored glass of various colors.
Then on the eve of January 1st, the palace will have changed their decor to meet the festivities of welcoming the New Year! & there will be booze, lots of it. Feel free to tie your resolutions on the glass tree that will be placed in the middle of the ballroom of that morning!
The whole event will end on the night of the New Year! So we hope you have fun!
FIRST THINGS FIRST: please use the tag #frt holiball on all event posts! During the duration of the event, you will be able to come and go to Olympia just as long as the shadowed suits escort you. The event will last until 11:59 PM on Monday, January 01, 2018.
Since this is a formal ball, characters must wear the appropriate attire like suits or tuxedos and formal dresses or ball gowns! ( Yes, they can be crazy-holiday themed / patterned & yes, your characters can wear whatever holiday accessories that they want. ) Wear whatever of these choices that you are more comfortable with! & feel free to share your outfits!
It’s not a necessity to come with a date, you can fly solo or go in groups! Whatever floats your boats. Also if you’d like, you guys can give each other gifts! ( either IC or OOC like edits, art, etc. ) Just as long as you have fun!
For the anonymous gift for your characters: It can be anything you guys want! From a weirdly shaped stick to... who knows. But if for any reason, it clashes with your application, you’re going to have to run it by the mods!
one last note! All threads that involve this event must end when the event ends. You’re allowed to finish up ongoing threads if they don’t finish on the event date. But after that, all event threads that must end by the final day.
