“I appreciate you coming with me for this.” Alestria nodded towards the other melusine. Her paws awkwardly straightened at her blazer, still unsure if her kind of attire was appropriate for this kind of ‘meeting’. Humans’ desire to know the unknown was as fascinating as it was silly. Fontaine’s historical texts always told of such captivating stories behind their discoveries and at times she found it admirable. But the want to know something as fluid and ever-changing as the future… Her curiosity of their curiosity had gotten the better of her. But, well, she had no idea what she was doing.
Normally Mare would use her human form when going in public, but this time, accompanying with Alestria, a fellow Melusine, she felt more at ease to be herself without her disguise. This felt nice, being with a friend made their outing more pleasant.
Walking around the small streets of Fontaine, the two soon spotted a particular stall. It seemed to be a fortune teller booth judging from its decorations, and this must be installed for this festive occasion.
Alestria wanted to try since this would be her first time, and Mare was on the same boat. With a nod, the Melusine agreed as the two entered inside the booth.
"No problem, Alestria! I wonder what they will tell about our futures." She was honestly curious as well.
