May we have more asthmatic Deceit, please? I love your writing.
(Absolutely! Sorry, this is so late, I could barely focus plus the idea just kinda whacked me with a foam sword across the head so I had to do em.)
Deceit sighed flopping down with Remus, trying to take deep breaths. The trial had taken a lot out of him, his lungs burned as they seemed to try to choke him out in their mission to let as little air in as possible.
Remus, bless him, woke up from his heavy, laboured breathing and rubbed his back, first trying to stimulate his ribs and lungs to function and then leaning to put his oxygen mask on him. Deceit snuggled to Remus as his lungs evened out as well as possible and he settled down, feeling Remus snap him into comfortable clothes to sleep in.
“You good?” Ree asked. He nodded softly and buried against the intrusive side, nodding off to sleep after his stress while Remus watched over him. He fell asleep to the feeling of Remus rubbing his back and kissing his face. “I love you.” He swore he heard whispered softly as the darkness of sleep took him.
