Do you know anywhere to get Ja'far merch? I saw a post recently but I couldn't find it again and I want some for him :(
I’m really sorry for the really late relpy! >+oWell, if I may recommend something first, It’s better to decide what kind of merch you want of him before buying….well unless you want any keychain or rubber strap or someting like that.It also depends on where you live. I’ve heard there are anime merch stores for the US only. But since they don’t ship overseas I don’t really know or care about them. If you are from there tho, that’s an advantage and you may find cheap merch easier.
I’m sure you know amiami for example, tho I think Magi stuff is sold out and Idk if they restock. You can try making an account and follow the merch you wanna buy to see if they do. There was SnB merch on cdjapan when the anime was out, but that site is for mangas, magazines, DvDs and CDs mostly. However pay attention there because when Magi new merch is out it may show up there with their original Japanese prices (this goes for amiami too), which are most of the time cheap, especially if they are straps or little stuff. There is HobbyLink too, tho they haven’t much stuff anymore. If I may be honest is probably a bad idea to ask me because I want very specific merch when it comes to Ja’far, I only buy what I want on my collection and I have a priority list of things I want first.Ebay: on ebay there’s used and new stuff, however most of them are overpriced. From the Magi new straps of last year I only wanted sinja ones (only 2), but I spent like 30 bucks which is a lot for 2 straps (they were new and in perfect condition tho: here’s the seller). Used stuff may have some imperfections depends on your luck. I got cheap magi keychains from there but the Aladdin I ordered had his eye erased :/. I recommend going to ebay as a last resort and buy new merch mostly. Well there are good sellers who have used stuff in nice conditions but is better if a friend recommends them to you. I also recommend doing your research because sometimes there are people who auction very worthy Magi merch compilations.Amazon has some Ja’far stuff but I have never bought anything there.
I mostly buy from japanese sites because if you buy a lot it may be more profitable than all the sites above. First of all if you don’t live in Japan you have to understand that stuff is gonna be expensive, there’s no way out of that. Also if you browse Japanese sites you have to search using Japanese words: マギ ジャーファル (Magi Ja’far). Also most Japanese stores don’t sell overseas so you have to use a proxy. I recommend both Goodyjapan (commission: 7$) and Big in Japan’s forwarding service (Commission 5$).
Amazon Japan: I bought my SnB whole set of rubber straps there. I recommend buying new stuff for safety, but if I may be honest, the Japanese have their used stuff in very good conditions, they are very trustworthy.Suruga-ya: MY FAVORITE PLACE TO BUY EVER. Mostly second hand products but in almost new conditions. Only precautions are that they may not come in their original boxes. Their Magi merch is very cheap….except Ja’far merch ahahaha. Ja’far merch is sadly the most expensive Magi merch there (still not as expensive as in other sites). Tho more than anything I recommend buying LOTS of stuff. The more you buy the more money you save. So if you have friends interested in buying any kind of anime merch in suruga, I advice buying together to share shipping expenses.
YahooAuctions: If you really want something that isn’t anywhere it may be here on yahoo auctions. So far I haven’t bought anything here but there’s a website that helps you with bidding and all. You must inform yourself tho! Cause I dunno enough nor have much experience.
MangaOne Shop: there’s some Ja’far merch on MangaOne’s shop, I’ve also never bought anything there but I figure you also need a proxy. Aside that, that’s SnB’s original shop, so everything is trustworthy. If you are interested in any specific Ja’far piece of merch, you can message me whenever and I can try finding it for you!Hope this was somewhat helpful.
