Possible changes I'm thinking about for Astra and my Fankid AU:

⭐Astra will still be in a selective open relationship with Satan and Mammon but the reason she leaves Hell will be different

-in addition to this, I'll have Astra go back, get into a big fight with Minhyeok and she ends up coming back to Hell sooner than she thought she would be since time works different in both realms it will be as if she never left in the first place

⭐Cain will still exist but I'll possibly not have his other siblings present and they'll just be little after thoughts and not part of the main story

⭐Lucifer and Gamigin's children will still exist since they play a role with Cain's coming of age story

⭐There's something traumatic I want to write about, but I'll talk about this much later as it involves diving into Leviathan's trauma and the same fate being passed down to Cain

⭐Astra not being pregnant at all seems to flow better with canon events, that is until we figure out what the heck is going on with Minhyeok in the main story

⭐Since I figured out a bunch of lore about Purson, I'm going to change up some stuff with Baby Clem (Agares' child)

-I had another OC I made and I had no idea what to do with them and now I do! They were an Abyssos devil originally, moved to Niflheim -I will make this OC (Nova) basically be the one that gives birth to Baby Clem, but they die during the birth and their soul ends up on Purson's ship -Due to the timeline this will actually make Baby Clem around the same age if not slightly younger than Cain instead of being a toddler like I had him in the beginning

⭐This means that in total I would have shaved down the official fankids I'll talk about down to basically just Cain and Damian while Dagon and Clem will only be mentioned if I need them to be. The twins and Astra's illegitimate kiddo with Levi will strictly be for the Fankid AU

Hey does anyone have any recommendations for TOS thunderbirds episodes to watch? Preferably with even a tiny bit of John in them.

Are they best watched in an order? Ive only seen the alligators episode.

Additionally, does anyone know where to find the 2004 movie other than locating a dvd? The others ive found on youtube but not it.

i’m back! & monday update 24/05/2021

Hi everyone!! Thank you for your patience during these weird past few days, I’m back! <3 

It’s been a bit of a slow week since I got my COVID shot on Thursday which slowed me down a bit, then my blog got suspended on Saturday and that kind of slowed down my writing motivation a bit, but I worked on the character portraits this weekend so that was nice! 

I’ll also be going and updating previous asks as well as the intro post to reflect Hen and Eli’s new identities, since Tumblr nerfed me before I had a chance to do that last week :’)

With my long Scott and John fic Edges of the Universe, i didnt post it properly on tumblr, only the ao3 link as its 12,000 words long. So would people be interested in it being published here too but divided into shorter, more manageable parts and posted gradually like a chapter by chapter work?

Secondary query: any opinions on how long they would be?

*grumble rant mostly complaining in a big block paragraph chucked out to the void* executive dysfunction issues feel so ridiculous because even when i know exactly what step i need to do next— read the articles for uni essay. Why i need to do it— so i have a base from which to figure out a thesis (look that might cause problems in What am i arguing, but thats a solvable issue if i can focus enough to fix it) to do the rest of the next steps. And how— i have no trouble reading or analysing complex texts. None of that fixes the Cannot Concentrate problem. The articles arent even boring and i like learning new things and im the sort of person know to literally read random bits of textbooks for fun. And i Want to do it. Because i like reading and writing and analysing stuff even above it being important for uni work. But ive spent the afternoon scrolling tumblr, checked my email thrice, left bite marks on my good pen, and literally stared at a blank wall rather than read the article on my screen even when i put away the aforementioned tumblr so now i want to scream. And it makes it difficult to ask for help because people assume its one of the other problems as they aren’t familiar with brain literally wont do it. And being “”clever”” doesnt help (even putting aside the frustrating fact that I couldve done this at 15 and done well and wouldve liked it) because its an entirely different thing (uncannily good pattern recognition and Details and long term memory for facts lead to analytical skills because everything ever is a giant interconnected web, but to focus they do not.) And the classic advice of ‘dont be a perfectionist’ which somehow people also go to isn’t actually what is happening here. The reason things are either in a not even submittable note or its living in my head stage or straight up noting then completed to high level (typos and formatting editing aside as at the last minute those are predictably first to go in the calculation of time to marks) is because the gap of executive function between nothing and even done at all is very large but the subsequent gap between done and done well is limited. My very particular flavour of autistic adhd coming through yet?

So hence rather frustrated especially as here i am trying to do the responsible thing of not starting at the last minute because the research alone will Take Time. And given its the final essay I would prefer not to entirely fuck it up. But ah well, so it will begin again trying tomorrow. Probably is character development that im going to Go On A Walk instead of continuing to bang my head against it.

Ramblings about Ring Of Fire (p1&2)

Here are my rambling episode notes as I started to rewatch Thunderbirds Are Go as I finally got them on dvd and a dvd player!!! So I thought I'd put them here if anyone was interested.

I'd forgotton how pretty and shiny dvds are. Also the little lens for the laser in the dvd reader looks like a tiny EOS.

Honestly the thing i am most excited about is that it has ✨Actual Subtitles✨(as opposed to the janky or missing ones on the youtube recordings i'd been watching). Like no exaggeration this what Im excited about cause it definitely makes a difference to me. Its way more fun not to be missing out on the jokes and witty one liners and other random i swear plot important bits (thank you audio processing disorder: i can hear the sounds but they are often a jumbled mess of There are Noises. For me its bad enough that it isnt worth it to go to stuff like cinemas or watch things without captions, but I digress)

Ouch Virgil hits the decks hard in his pulling off the rescue. Also where is his helmet? Virge. Seriously. Ow. 

John and Five are fabulous. Amazing. The bestest.

I love that Kayo and Alan are bickering (fondly) like siblings from the outset. 

Scott!! Surely hanging around at the top of one above the concrete hangar floor, only holding the grapple in his hand with no other safety equipment is not WH&S compatible. His frustration and impatience with not being able to launch One right now are so obvious. 

Penny and Parker and Fab1!!!! Penny’s lines!!!— driving on the wrong side of the road, this is rather distressing.  

Grandma is ready to battle it out with the kitchen appliances. 

Gordon and Virgil hiding under dad’s desk to escape cracks me up every time. Right from the first episode you see the bonds between the Tracy bros. 

Then as they launch, Virgil’s ‘we can handle one mission without you there smotherhen’ its part exasperated and part reassurance for Scott that yes they will be alright. 

Virgil and Two’s launch sequence let’s goooooo!!!

Scott looks so content to be on his thunderbird and wow no fear of heights on that gantry. 

Uhh isnt gordon concussed. Like he was knocked out the first time when the earthquake making and buries four and then he looks like he hits his head as the lab is going under. 

Kayos 'its totally a trap but lets spring it anyway'!!!

The hood's dramatic reveal!! The way john startles and flinches back as its a huge projection. 

Scott voice. How devastated and angry he is. Aaaahhhh!!!

Virgil doesnt want to believe that they live in a world where people like the hood deliberately want to hurt people. This says so much about him in how he wants to believe in the good in people first and foremost.

The Tracies are so supportive and encouraging of each other, especially to the younger ones: Virgil's 'good job bro' to gordon, Johns 'im proud of you' to alan

Kayo's dichotomy of wanting to keep the secret from the brothers, but also not overconfident enough to think she can take on the hood completely alone without the back up of casey and the gdf. 

Eeeee!!! Kayo in that moment where she’s looking up at her thunderbird, thunderbirds shadow, she is so happy!!!
