France: Thousands protest against vaccination, COVID passes

In Paris, separate protest marches by the far-right and the far-left wound through different parts of the city. Demonstrations were also held in Strasbourg in the east, Lille in the north, Montpellier in the south and elsewhere.

Le syndicat craint un «danger grave» et déplore une absence d’informations. Dernière minute : ce vendredi 12 février 2021, l’hôpital annonce que la vaccination des soignants avec l’Astrazeneca va reprendre…

Prilosec and Nexium Have Been Linked to Kidney Problems

Acid reflux. That bloated, gassy feeling you sometimes get when you eat too much. Its medical term is gastroesophageal reflux disease (GRD). Most of us know it as“heartburn”. 

Millions of people suffered with heartburn on a regular basis. There was nothing on the market that really worked. Then came Astra-Zeneca with Prilosec in 1989 and Nexium in 2001. These two medications, called proton pump inhibitors (PPI) helped a lot of people who experience heartburn on a regular basis.

But several studies showed that long-term use of PPI medications can cause serious kidney problems including acute interstitial nephritis and other serious kidney injuries that may require a kidney transplant or may even cause death.

And Astra-Zeneca only posted warnings about this possible kidney damage in 2014.
