i've only been in celestial lucem as akira shirei, but that's my only experience with tumblr-themed oc roleplay. other than that i used to do chat-based dr oc roleplay and forum based oc roleplay, too.

Welcome to Astral Cabal; A DR OC RP Group that aims to bring players one of the most optimal, fun-loving, enjoyable roleplay experiences to date.

SESSION INFORMATION:

Astral Cabal is a submission-based roleplay group that runs on a one-week schedule. More-so than not, according to player input, we have multiple extended-week sections throughout the game to give room for more character development, enjoyment, and ooc relaxation. Astral Cabal's third session will consist of two games-- Astral: Diamond and Astral: Pearl. As of now, the settings are currently disclosed information to keep it a surprise to our new players joining us this session.

GROUP STATUS:

As of now, applications are currently closed. Our next student application period is scheduled to open some time on November 16th. An announcement will be made on the blog when applications officially open. Applications will then be accepted until the cut-off date-- November 30th, 11:59 PM EST. At any time, one is allowed to apply as an artist, regardless if applications are open or not. If this is the case, inbox us your name, pronouns, skype name, availability, and at least two example pieces. 

Applicants are allowed to send in a maximum of two applications. For submitting your application(s), Google Docs are always preferred so that we don't clutter the inbox-- However, it is not mandatory. We do not plan on having extensions this time around, but if you may desperately need one, inbox us and we'll see what we can do.

g OD THESE TWO!!!! THESE TWO!!! I NEVER THOUGHT HOW AWESOME THEY WOULD GO TOGETHER UNTIL THEIR FIRST INTERACTION WHEN IT WAS LIKE “this is it. This is the friend that would work really really well with Sachiko.” 

Maybe it was because they sorta worked well together, like i dont know how to completely explain it, but yknow how in some pieces of media theres like the short loud person and they have a friend who’s pretty tall and quiet but understands theM WAIT I KNOW EXACTLY WHO THEY’ER LIKE.

Its either they’re like that or it was just a case of Sachiko didn’t have any other friends except for her, and so she latched onto Koemi as best as she could and hoped that her friend wouldn’t die.

But either way, they were still really, really reALLY GOOD FRIENDS SO QUICKLY. Imagine what they could’ve been if Koemi didn’t kill somebody!! Because wow o wow that trial fucked Sachiko up.

It fucked her up because for a split second either she thought about Koemi could’ve been a lie. That Koemi didn’t trust Sachiko with telling her what happened (did she not trust her?) and when Koemi revealed she was in fact a super villain this entire time made her also briefly, so very briefly wonder

"Was she lying to me this entire time?"

Like, Sachiko has been lied to before, she’s been taken advantage of before. Trust me, it didn’t really end well for Sachiko. So for just a few minutes she was heartbroken because she assumed she was alone this entire time, but then Koemi said otherwise, hell Koemi outwardly complimented Sachiko and she was the only other person to do that besides her grandmother. Like holy hell does that mean a lot to her???? like hoooly shit. So Sachiko dispelled all those doubts and just told herself “this is my best friend. Koemi Takibana, the super villain RADIANT♥HEART is my best friend here and nothing can change that.”

Then she watched Koemi die and was promptly fucked up. Tbh she never really recovered from that?? It was sorta the reason why she became such a recluse from then on out, she was terrified with crying again. Sachiko didn’t want to watch someone else she cared so deeply for die in such a gruesome way. She also never forgot Koemi’s promise with living as long as she could, and there were times where she just wanted someone to come and kill her, or perhaps kill someone else and hopefully get caught because she just couldn’t take living without Koemi at times bUT HER FINAL WORDS JUST MADE HER KEEP ON LIVING. Tbh if she never added that Sachiko would’ve just giving up.

Sachiko will never really forget Koemi, she still has her backpack and will probably continue to keep it for the rest of her life. Maybe if she ever has a kid she’d name her Koemi?? Probs. Koemi was probably Sachiko’s true and only friend in her entire life. Congrats Koemi!!! you’ve won!!!!
