Love the New Mario Story, all the character designs are so fun! Speaking of, I noticed Saul's 'cap' was gray when he was a guard; I thought it was gray because he was old. Do Toads age differently to humans? How biologically different are the two? How does the cap function as a body part, and how do Toads hear? Sorry if this is a bit much, but I love the nitpicky side of worldbuilding, and your world has me so curious!
