For me, coming to tumblr meant finding all kinds of awesome fic writers.
I had the pleasure of finding deliriumbubbles jwmelmoth and lovejoybliss rather early, and yeah. Hook, line, sinker.
All three of them write the kind of Glee fic I want to read, written with respect for the characters, with care for portraying something healthy, and wanting something good to come out of every bad thing to happen.
pterawaters have me happily going down one rabbithole after the other, even the ones I would have sworn up and down I would never care for, and doing so with a smile.
@astraplain is always a good source for feel-good kadam fic, and one of my first stopping points for when I need a quick fix.
bmwiid has some truly excellent sterek AUs to her name, and I always enjoy my stay in her sandbox.
If someone had told me before finding melbluesblog that I’d ever read Narnia fic, or more specifically Narnia slash, I’d have raised my eyebrows and thought them delusional. I’d have been wrong. Everything Mel writes ends up on my read and read again list, regardless of fandom.
thewinterotter writes some really great sterek, with magic and bamf-ness and smut, and why aren’t you reading her again? (You can always start with “The Unicorn’s Keeper” and then go less sweet...)
@rileyrises also writes some awesome fics. Oneshots for a quick fic-fix, a multichapter SYTYCD stanny AU with my Mathilde... Take your pic.
metaldragoness31 is something as glorious as a genuinely captivating story teller. Forget spelling and grammar, this lady you read for the story telling, and you’re greatful for it. Too few of her stories are still available, but. Sometimes we take what we can get, and we’re grateful for it. Currently eagerly awaiting the next chapter of “These Troublesome Disguises”.
When it comes to gingersnapwolves it’s hard to know where to start. This lady truly gives you the opportunity to choose your damage (and I do mean damage) when it comes to sterek or steter. Most people will point you towards “The Sum of Its Parts”, and they’d be right to, since it’s an awesome series, but. Do venture further, for your own benefit. I think my finger points in the direction of “With or Without You” which just so happens to have enough mystery, snark and tropes to make me a very happy reader.
