Has anyone ever recommended Nirvana in Fire to you? It is THE top tier cdrama, imo. The lead character is the sort of clever, sneaky mastermind with plots inside plots that I think would appeal to you and there's some lovely found family vibes.
I’ve heard of it but really don’t know much about it. Looks like a court intrigue type of drama? Which do appeal to me immensely. ^_^

“House of Diamonds” – Seems like it should be a heist-fic of some kind. The characters are pulling off a big, risky scam that seems impossible. I’d probably use alternating third person and include a lot of banter. On top of the major goal (probably thievery) I’d add in some higher stakes, a bigger villain who the team will turn around to screw. Could be a fic from Harry Potter side characters, The younger crowd from Venture Bros (Triana, Sirena, Dean, Hank, Jarrod, etc.), a few Glee characters, or…
A second possibility is using it as a pun and writing a period piece in Steven Universe about a failed uprising on Homeworld before Pink and Earth were even thought of. :P
OR a sci-fi western AU being settled/run by prostitutes, as it was in the actual American west.
“Sunshine” – I’d write it as an AU in which I write a favorite character like Kurt or the Baudelaire kids as a child vampire. Except under these vamp rules, vampires are living creatures who are an alternate species, and thus are abled, in a limited way, to live and pass among humans.

So we know that when Kara doesn’t have her Kryptonian powers she is able to catch human diseases (e.g. that cold she got last season). Mon-el doesn’t have her level of involunerability/immunity AND is new to Earth and its pathogens, THEREFORE he is probably even more susceptible. Just saying. Dysentery would probably hit him really hard.

Yup! He actually saves Barry from the time wraith at the end of the episode with his gloves.
I guess I’ll be grateful that the Deaf queer character isn’t written off forever (or dead). And if I ever manage to catch up on the show, I’ll write a backstory myself.

I thought they sort of imply that due to Barry’s time travel interference, there’s less antagonism and more working together but sadly, there isn’t really a good explanation for how things played out in the altered timeline.

I just finished watching and sort of yes. He’s not back as a permanent member of Team Flash but they imply that he’s sort of a good guy consultant that they can call for help now.
That’s good, I guess. Not wild that all of his development occurred off-screen, but I’ll take what I can get.

What fandom? Or original? Maybe a name change? A character who goes by a childish nickname as a kid and full name as an adult or something like that. I've seen that work.
It's a Teen Wolf fic. My main issue is making sure readers will understand when the MC "moves between time-lines", and that they can follow the path of the story development, so to speak.
I don't think I'll have to use a different name as a rule, though it's something I'm considering for one of the time-lines.
Basically, I don't want to have to fall back on labelling each section "original time-line", "first alternative time-line" et cetera, but I'm a bit unsure of what approach to use instead.
