thought i'd share two finished pages of my toonverse beach comic that i was working on last year to kick myself into finishing the whole thing. it's several pages long and you can find tons of WIPs at the secret club! astrid is a menace towards beetlejuice, lydia doesn't approve 😔

The way Rory thought Lydia didn't see ghosts and was mentally ill, so he decided the way to go was to take away any kind of medication that prevented her from seeing what he believed to be hallucinations, even when she was scared out of her mind after seeing Beetlejuice, he made it all about himself so she would think she's a bad girlfriend for wanting to dull her constant visions of the demon that terrorized her teenage years so she wouldn't get real help, all of that only for money
Meanwhile she didn't have the emotional capacity to form a proper bond with her daughter, unable to listen to her when the conversation was about triggering subjects. Still she gave in to her worst trauma to save Astrid, she accepted to marry Beetlejuice so her daughter could live even when she knew it meant losing everything else
Lydia is so dear to me, with all her rights and wrongs
Can you do a angst of Delia Deetz saying her last goodbye to Lydia and Astrid on her deathbed, then Y/N-Juice shows up at the funeral to share his condolences to the two Deetz and ensures that Delia is safe with him?
