A large stick was thrown with a cry of "Fetch girl!" before Stormfly hobbled after it with a gleeful expression, sniffing around the the undergrowth of the forest floor before snatching the stick in her beak and jogged back over to her Rider, who was waiting for her in the middle of the forest.

"Good girl" The blonde cooed over the dragon as she dropped it at her feet and chirped, tail waving in the air as she bounced back on her feet, waiting for the next throw. Astrid chuckled, bent down to grab the stick before throwing it as far as she could, the stick disappearing somewhere before the line of trees. Stormfly squawked happily and ran after it.

Five Years Later

Heathers eyes widened with fear and confusion. It had been years since she had been on Berk and her return should have been a pleasant surprise. However Berk looked to be beaten, bettered, ice and wood still scattered around. Things had clearly been fixed up, but whatever had caused this mess must have happened recently.

Her eyes gazed around for a familiar face, and while she had changed over the years there was no doubting that was Astrid standing not far away. Heather grinned despite herself and ran over to the blond haired girl. 

With a tap on the shoulder she announced herself, "Astrid, Hi. It's me, Heather." She added just in case Astrid didn't recognize her. For she to had changed over the past five years.

It was a beautiful day out, that Jack could see clearly from his place at his desk. It was bright outside, a perfect day for going out and having fun with frineds. Yet here he was stuck in class. He could vaguely make out his teacher's voice droning on in the background about some project they were going to have, but it wasn't enough to keep the white haired teen's attention.

He wondered vaguely why his classmate's names were being called, until his own was. He turned his head and blinked at his teacher clearly confused about why she was calling on him. A few of his classmates giggield at his reation. It was nothing new to them.

"Jack Frost" the teacher repeated looking slightly annoyed. "And Astrid Hofferson will be a pair" he announced before moving onto the next pair for their project. Though what the project was, Jack had no clue. He looked around the room for his partner wondering if she'd been paying ay more attnetion than him. He'd never really had much time for Astrid, and it seemed he'd be spending more time with her now.

IMPORANT FOR THOSE WHO RP WITH ME

Okay so I don't know how many of you guys know but at the moment Australia is getting cyclones and some pretty bad storms. I was lucky, we haven't been hit by the cyclone but we did get the backlash from it. Hence the reason for my absence. Power was knocked out on my street due to high winds so we were out of the house for a few days, meaning i had no internet access. Things are still being patched up around here but its getting better. We're back at home and with power again so all will be good.

However while I am here making side notes and excuse for abscesses, in about 6 weeks my family and I are getting kicked out of our house. We still haven't found anywhere else to live yet so things are a bit uncertain at the moment. I will let you guys all know closer to the date what is happening but there is a very real chance that i may not be on for a few weeks, due to us possibly being out of home.

I know I can be a terrible RP partner at times, I really am. But I hope you guys don't mind to much. To those I RP with I will be finally getting around to doing threads on maybe Friday Night as I have an assignment for uni due on Thursday and because I was out of home, I haven't done a whole lot yet.

Once again I am really sorry for screwing you guys around but you will have your replies by the end of the week. I promise.
