Rushing up behind her, he wraps his arms around her middle and lifts her off her feet, swinging her around. "I got you now!" he exclaims with a laugh, burying his face in her hair as he squeezes her gently.
"Well…I…uhh…I figured you wouldn’t want to sleep in the same bed just yet. So I'll take the couch and you can have the bed." Astrid cast the young man a sheepish look and shrugged, arms crossing. She still wasn't sure what to make of the arrangement and found herself chewing on her lip in nervous thought. "What with there being a few days before the wedding, it seems only proper..."
The whole thing was awkward. Jack was still trying to figure out how to deal with their current situation. It was panic-inducing really, and he had to concentrate on not freaking out about the whole thing. They'd been engaged since they were children, but they'd never actually spent any time together. He wished they'd been able to gotten to know each other before they were forced to move in with each other and expected to be married in just a few days.
He looked up when she spoke, eyes wide and mouth parted in surprise. It took him a moment to realize what she was saying and then he was nodding his head frantically. "Oh, right, yeah, of course. Whatever you want," he said quickly, then stopped, blinking a few times before shaking his head and quickly backtracked. "Wait, no, that's wrong. You can-you can have the bed. I'll take the couch..."

"You're not from around here." It's a statement, not a question, since the statuesque woman before him is sticking out like a sore thumb -- she is rustic and classic amidst the fast-paced and modern atmosphere of san fransokyo. --- the presence of the dragon also gives her away.

Send me urls and I'll talk about the blog
this lil turd is one of those most adorable people I have ever met. Her blog is fantastic and she is by far one of the greatest Astrid blogs out there. She catches both her tough and her playful sides perfectly and still manages to create an accurate character as well as perfect visual images. I highly suggest you follow this blog if you want to find a great roleplayer out there.
And Nickelite is a fantastic person as well, so there's another reason to follow her.
