Kalyan had little time to perfect many of his own powers. As he was always being hunted by those that had sought to destroy his kind, the Nephilim. So he was not as strong as he should be where that was concerned. Also, as their father had abandoned him for being born a 'male' as he only wished to tend to his daughters. Of course, Kalyan was angry, of course Kalyan was weak. At least where his father was concerned. But his mother, his mother did her best. Protected him when he was still young, taught him her necromancy, but she could not teach him about his angelic side.
Of course, Astrid downplayed it, she got everything, and he got nothing. That was how he had seen it all those years go. She was free of the hunting, being born in another world, with a different god. Perhaps a more merciful one. As she spoke so confidently in all her ignorance, he laughed “Are you stupid? Did you forget some parts of the story, or did your mommy forget to tell you? How convenient. Hm?” He was the one who had let Ginevra hurt him, more or less, seeing his folly. His actions were for nothing, not that either of those two bitches cared. A bitch, who raised another bitch, to be just like her, was none of his concern these days “You're waters don't fuck with me, cunt.” Kalyan smirked and pushed himself up to be straighter “My human half may be a weakness, to you. But I'm still here, because of it.”
Kalyan was of course, exhausted with conversations like this “He didn't plan on leaving you, though. He seen I was a male and left. He wanted to stay with you! There's a fucking difference, bitch.” He hisses through clenched teeth “Because. He needs to pay for what he did. This is his fault! He did it on purpose! You weren't there. When he told me, on his rare visits, to always insult me! That he hated me, that he wished I were born a girl! And that my birth turned him away from the one person he really loved, my mother. He despised me for just existing! Just like that fucking god he served!” Kalyan informed, narrowing his gaze, his gold-tinted blood still spilling onto the ground.
“That stick up my ass, is justice. And I'm going to pay it forward, to everything he has loved, if I must. Maybe till he's fucking dead, if I got to go that far. You're just fodder. Sorry. But he did not set us up for the sibling duo you're trampling on right now. You don't understand, and I'm not interested in you enough to explain it! AGAIN!” He paused, taking a few breathes, blood dripping from his mouth “Your bitch mother should have raised you better, hm? Should have told you all of this instead of making me the enemy. I'm just another product of our fucked up parentage, just like you.”
Holding out his right arm, he twirled his hand, energy forming into a ball there “Are you still on your mommy's leash?” Kalyan asked, looking amused, walking closer to her “You are, aren't you?” He turned his head as she went on talking about whatever flowery bullshit morning cartoon 'don't bully' ad she was living in. Some hands across the world bullshit, if you asked him. He had lived since the dawn of humankind and never seen anything more ridiculous than all of humanity majorly, collectively, agreeing, to be whiney little bitches as these modern humans thrived on. No spines, all wobbly, convictions in the trash, they never really stood for anything 'hard' to deal with. They crumbled more than anything, and listening to his sister yammer only reminded him of how his world needed people like him, even if it as hard to deal with someone like him. “I have lived for thousands upon thousands of years, Astrid, I've found happiness more times than I can count. But that man, he comes and destroys it every time. Do you get it? Now?” Turning his head, he looked a little crazed “He takes from me, as my 'punishment', and I can ever stay in place, because the god he anger, wants me dead. I don't get to be happy.” He wondered if it was Asher who played a part in her being so soft-headed. He should have killed that halfwit when he had the chance, he thought. Lifting his right hand up, he hurled the green ball of fire that had formed in it, at Astrid. “Maybe, I'll kill your entire family, and leave you alive, to watch, and then I'll kill you in front of our father, so he can watch you die. Just before I kill him, too! But that's more for dramatics, seeing as he doesn't care about you, or me, yeah? So why then, did you come here?! Did he put you up to this?!”
