2012 - 20 things that happened to me this year

A lot of things happened this year, and I thought it would cool to make a list of all the cool shit that happened to me this year

In no particular order, since I'll put it down when I remember what I did

Went to ENGLAND FOR 3 WEEKS, seriously, that was the best time I've ever had in my life. I spent 3 weeks, alone, in a country half way around the world, to spend time with my "closest" friends. I saw things that most Americans have only seen in pictures. I can't wait to go back.

Speaking of those friends, I got close to people I now call my best friends. Emilie, Sarah, and Maisie. I wouldn't trade any of you for anything in the world. I love you guys to death. And...I might as well just say it, I regret everything that happened between me and Jaime at the end there. I wish we were still friends, but I can't just fix it like nothing happened. We were the closest of close, at least she was to me. And I would do anything to get that back...

I'm not gonna forget meeting the awesome friends like Yama, Miranda, Gabi, Jem, and Kiwi. I'm glad to have met all of you, and you guys made me feel welcome around you. I'm thankful for that, and I love you guys too uvu.

I also met my wonderful girlfriend, Bethany, who I love dearly and would be lost without. She was the light in the darkness, and she still is the light of my life. I love you, babe <3

I went to my first con ever in London, the London Film and Comic Con, and while there were some circumstances I wasn't very fond of at the time, I still had a blast. I also went to my first con here at home, Sac-Anime, and met new Homestuck friends here, most notably Noelle, Blythe, Zelly, Karen, and Sophie. I thank you guys for putting up with me these past 3 - 4 months umu.

I got my driver's license finally, after a year of having my permit. I'd like to once again thank Noelle for pushing me into finally doing it. I passed my first time in a place notorious for it's difficulty. :D

I finished my first year of college, and am currently half way through the second. I don't why I'm here, but I'm still here, so I guess I'll just keep going on with that :T

I got a car! That's something, I guess. Not many people lay claim to owning a car.

I went to my first Midnight Release of a game. Assassin's Creed 3. And a week later, I went to the Midnight Release of Halo 4. I had never been to one of those before, even though I wanted to for a long time. And now I could drive myself, I got to go! :D

I went Black Friday shopping for the first time. NEVER AGAIN. D:<

HOMESTUCK, of course. I was introduced by Jaime, and by extension Emilie, to Homestuck. I remember Jaime was so adamant in trying to get us both to read it, and we were both just like "no". But Emilie broke first, and loved it. And I tried and tried, until J came up with the idea for me to liveblog it. And then I started having fun. And the rest is history.

My birthday was kinda funny looking back on it. I had 4 gifts promised to me. 1 made it on time, another was finished on time but wasn't given to me until months later, the third wasn't worked on and finished until July, and I never got the 4th one. I'll just never forget that. It's amusing to me a little :U

I made my first "adult" purchase. I WILL NOT say what it was, or who it was for, but just know I'd be really red faced if someone saw my purchase history.

I lost 30 pounds! And I didn't even try. Good on me!

I donated my time to help in a Kindergarten classroom for 2 months, and I still plan to go back as often as I can. I love those kids, but man, some of them I want to hit upside the head....

My first COSPLAY! Tavros Nitram! I think it came out really good. I mean, all I had to work on was the horns, as I coincidentally had the outfit already, and the shirt made for me in England, I'm really happy with how the horns turned out, and I think it came out good for a first cosplay ^^

When I got funded for school, the first thing I spent money on was the Homestuck Kickstarter :L. 155 bucks. GIMMIE THOSE CARDS

This is the first year my Mom didn't spend any money on me directly. She paid for the house and shit, but I was on my own for everything else. And I managed. I PAID FOR THE ENTIRE ENGLAND TRIP MYSELF 2000 DOLLARS.

I got my perfect entertainment set up  hooked up in my room, finally. Got my Xbox, Super Nintendo, Computer, and TV all positioned perfectly on mt desk thing. I was so proud after it was done.

For once, I know what it's like to be loved. Unconditionally. In the way a lover feels about their partner. I thought I knew that feeling once, but it was a lie. But now, I know it's true. She says not to be sorry about it, but I can't even begin to describe how much I loathe not being able to be around Bethany. But despite the distance between us, I know in my heart that she's true to her word, and she loves me, and nothing can ruin that for her. So, I love you, sugarcube. And one day, we'll see each other and be together.
