what exactly is ellie's dinner ball thing called, and where did you get it from? i think my pup would enjoy something like that too. thanks!

i got the biggest one because it has a little adjustable opening for the treat dispenser part and the large size keeps her from being able to powerbite the hard plastic.
so far i’m super satisfied with this thing, it makes her so happy!
for the loot drop ask meme: you'll drop an Incomplete Game Design Note and a Furret Plush
See previous for the furret plush, but holy shit, I almost always have some half baked idea in a pocket or my purse. SO MANY IDEAS.
what's the tone of stardew valley like? bc you've mentioned lots of heavy story stuff getting revealed, but i also saw in a lets play that the intro sequence has a skeleton sitting at a desk in the depressing cubicle farm which is pretty goofy. obvs stuff can do both serious and goofy; i'm curious where SV falls/how it does so.
It’s generally lighthearted and relaxed, but often bittersweet and poignant in a way that leaves the world feeling very real despite obvious fantasy aspects. (Like, you don’t escape that soulless national corporation just by quitting and moving to a farm - it remains a presence in your life by virtue of having its fingers in a lot of pies.) The characters are more relatable and vibrant as a result and it just feels overall less childish than FoMT while never veering into edgy.
I guess I’d sum it up as Stardew Valley being very Harvest Moon Improved in gameplay, but the overall tone is more Earthbound/Mother 3/Undertale.
re: mmfr spellings - the subtitles i saw had "jobassa" not "jabassa". it was a torrented file, though, so idk. just giving more data! (it also sounds more like they're saying jObassa rather than jAbassa)
My original torrent said Jobassa as well, which sounds a lot closer to what Furiosa and Unnamed Vuvalini #1 say. The shots I posted are phonecam photos of the iTunes digital release (I can’t screencap it directly because of DRM), and I would expect those subtitles to be what the, uh, whatever passed for a screenplay said. ;) But again, the BluRay might have something completely different.

But consider: Rule 63!Clint mentoring Kate Bishop.
I’ll see your rule 63!Clint and raise you a girl!Bucky.

that looks adorable! ...and somewhat unwieldy...
Oh it is incredibly unwieldy. Its heavy and the handle gets too hot and it dribbles. But it holds a ton of tea and its hella goddamn cute, and that’s what’s really important.
pancakes
yay pancakes! i’m having chocolate right now
