Medieval Zodiac Signs (April-June)
“Très Riches Heures du duc de Berry” or The Very Rich Hours of the Duke of Berry is the most famous example of an illuminated manuscript in the Gothic style because of its near perfect preservation. The book contains a collection of prayers for each month of the year. As seen in the top blue crescents, there are corresponding zodiac sign symbols.

The Capricorn
I sat down in front of a youtube video, with the simple goal of doodling around on my tablet, trying new brushes and just have fun drawing.
But I ended up with this and I'm not mad at it 🙃
It's a capricorn bug, Cerambyx Cerdo, with an astrological twist. So if you're a Capricorn, here is a bug for your birthday ☺️
It's hard for me to stylise things and to drift away from the realistic side of things. For this one I didn't even start with a sketch and went right in with the markers. This way I was forced to be less detailed and it worked.
