Does anyone else have a Venus sign that directly squares their Descendant? (I.e, I have a Scorpio Venus directly squaring my Leo 7th house)… does anyone else that has this aspect find it extremely annoying? My Leo 7H wants a partner who attracts a lot of attention and my Scorpio Venus cannot handle it 😤😤 like the jealousy this brings but it’s unavoidable? Why is this my specific lesson?

what's in the water? -- a quick ramble on malefics in water signs

So, I have a natal Saturn Rx in Pisces, and my first exact return was on June 4th, and it went exact again on the 30th-- the most interesting thing about this was that I contracted a parasite from water-- and it started the weekend of my first exact return, and it has now cleared up at the second return.

The other interesting thing is that I have a natal Mars in Cancer opposite Neptune in Capricorn-- and on the day of my birth the Sinking of the MS Estonia happened, and note that this is was one of the worst Maritime disasters in history-- where 852 people lost their lives, and for as long as I can remember I have had the fear of going on a cruise.

All this to say, malefics in water signs can definitely signify a need to take precautions around bodies of water-- particularly for those of us with natal malefics in water signs.

We're really the embodiment of an angry ocean.

Also, I will do a longer, and proper Saturn return notes once mine is complete (it is going to go exact once more in February of next year, so I've got to see what else is in store before writing more about it)

So I can definitely see Virgo rising. That's always been a second guess of mine. The reason I'm leaning on Gemini is because 1. That fashion sense? The colors and patterns and making something that shouldn't look good look GREAT - that's gemini bb. Also the youthful look - mercury rules youth (hence virgo coming in second). And finally, if he's a gemini rising within 16-17 degrees, that means his venus is conjunct it (the beauty, the likability, the HAIR), and that it's also in the 12th house, showing the lack of confidence regarding his beauty. 3. He has a cleft on his chin and a cupids bow, alond with being tall, and lean. 4. Gemini rules the hands - look at his hANDS. That's all I can think of at the top of my head this early haha

I like the the thought of a virgo rising because of how thoughtful he seems to be? and wfttwtaf has a lot of virgo rising in it's story telling to me, also that would be his (gemini) mars would be his mid-heaven which makes a lot click? also his 10th house would also he gemini which again I think makes sense with what u said.

overall I appreciate your thoughts, they're very interesting and I always love a crossover between 5sos and astrology.

So I was looking back at my Sunghoon reading and I like totally forgot most of it😂 I really thought he had more Scorpio in him! But it really makes a lot of sense. But also I was kinda on some bullshit about him and Jake cuz it's mostly they have the same venus. Which is a great thing! It's all about having the ways of giving and receiving affection but also having a lot of the same tastes in things like hobbies or fashion. And it really does give that feeling of really being Known. And they are the only 2 with scorp venuses so it's so valid they were drawn to each other. Also I got why they confide in each other 100%  But like it's complex and it's like All Scorpio placements...which is A Lot.

Idk i might elaborate later but it's may be kinda overwhelming to be together too much.

Unlike Jake and niki which has so much in common and you can just seee it. I will elaborate on that rn😂

When I read for a person, especially a friend, I don’t have a set pattern by which I read through their natal astrology. There are so many angles and perspectives within just one chart -- I let the journey tell me where to go next. 

Yesterday during a reading was such an experience. I read for someone who I had known for a long time. Someone who seemed to me to be very concerned with what was tangible -- the material world of having nice clothes and cars. I opened her chart expecting to see a bit of that. And I did, but I also saw the ways she was holding herself back from her full power as a successful business owner, or leader of an organization. She had been steadily rising up the ranks of her company, but not to the extent I saw in her natal chart. “Are you going to start a company?” I asked. I could see that it would be successful if she did. She told me she had thought about it.

I was surprised to see a Pisces Venus -- a part of her I had honestly never witnessed. It was opposite a Virgo Mars in the second house -- a clear indicator of what she led with in her day-to-day interactions, but I worried about how she expressed her Venus -- and if she did. All that was overshadowed by her seeming destiny to start a company, and I couldn’t help but wonder if it was her Venus holding her back. So I looked at her progressed chart: sun in Pisces as well. Dissolving of the ego. Plus a natal Venus. Her external desire nature was lessening in Piscean waters. Previous notions of success were shifting under Venus.

Her nodal return indicated a fork in the road a year or two earlier -- an event that would have jolted her awake in some way. So I asked if that was true, and she nodded. It was a difficult decision: to join a speculative start-up that would have her working long hours and traveling, or to stay at her current company with a work/life balance that allowed more time with her son. 

I looked deeper. Into her Navamsa D9 chart (the second most important chart in Jyotish (Vedic) astrology), I looked at how her married life and outer desire was changing. It indicated a path split between growing her career, and following her own spiritual beliefs and truth. Would they converge in the future? Her go-to form of relaxation was to recharge at Yoga retreats -- perhaps the start of this journey. The D9 was less optimistic on the prospects of her current marriage. I didn’t tell her any of this. She looked up at me inquisitively as if she knew what I saw: “Am I getting divorced? Does it say that?”

“It says that you are on an increasingly spiritual path to find your own truth. You are mostly interested in learning new things that will lead you down this path. There is no reason why your husband can’t come along.”

This was partly a lie. The gap between her soul and ego was shrinking. Her nodes followed the 1/7 house axis -- she is here to learn about balance in romantic relationships. If she were to leave her husband, she would find another version of the same situation, eventually leading to the same disillusionment. What she needed to find was within herself, but her Aquarian soul wanted a bi-coastal relationship -- something with a lot of space. She laughed when I told her that, and nodded in agreement. “That would be perfect.” 

I finished with a peek at her solar return. So much 9th house energy. “Are you thinking about going back to school?” She sighed. “Yes, but when would I find the time? And it’s expensive.” The year looked like major change was ahead. A work friend possibly becomes a lover. Spousal separation is possible this year. Financial changes and debts increase. She kept her life very private. Even if it were true, I doubt she would talk to me about it.

There is something very foundational about our natal chart -- in her case, she was working through her very Aquarian sun and Virgo mars to achieve independence and success in the work place. But her sun had progressed into Pisces and her 8th house Piscean Venus which had been so concerned about security and power was turning to the more mystical and hidden aspects of the 8th. Opposite Saturn in the 2nd house, she was tiring of projecting that security and love onto her partner, and was looking to more fully integrate it into herself. Her path was pulling her towards independence, but Saturn conjunct mars was her block and had her holding onto security with a vice grip.

In general, Aquarius is rooted in the desire for freedom. The rest of the natal chart spells out what that looks like. But as the sign progresses, what makes Aquarians feel free progresses as well. A second house Saturn always feels a sense of scarcity, but her Aquarian sun sees the futility in constant ladder climbing and wants to transcend Saturn’s block.

About the rising ask, the user is scorpiominho (she’s privated atm) and she made an in-depth analysis of Minho’s chart. Apparently, Minho had mentioned his birthtime was “around 8”, but he didn’t specify morning or evening, leading to the guess of either scorpio or gemini rising.

Ohhh I see,,,that is so interesting omg :o If he really was a Scorpio rising...oof...that boi would be a scorpio through and through. I will check it out~ Thank you for telling me^-^
