Yesterday I went to see Frankenstein with my mom and dad, I’ve already seen it but it was their first time seeing it.

The relationship with my mom hasn’t been the best since I started with my transition, and tbh never expected the movie to really hit them.

But after leaving the theater, we were in the car and she started crying, I never know what to do when she cries, but now I had the ache to hug her. So I reached out, I hugged her, and she clung to me, we stayed like that for a long time, crying.

A silence understanding, a mirror held to us and all we could do was, reach out.

I told her “I am your creature” and she just said yes.

This movie really means a lot to me, it’s engraved in my heart forever.
