The price of using neodymium magnets a science demonstration. My skin got pinched so hard that it bled internally.

After this happened, one of my students said, "This is why you don't play around with magnets".

😟 Appalled, I retorted with, "I wasn't playing with them, I bled for science!"

After that, no one was allowed to Separate the magnets though. 😅

Finished with my Master's, now on to the job search. It's actually a lot more stressful than I had imagined. I want to do something positive with my life, even if it doesn't exactly pay well. I just want a job that lets me share my knowledge and love of astronomy and physics with people.

What am I going to be when I grow up? It's been Nine years since I started college, and this question still keeps me up at night. I'm still trying to navigate my career path. I know I want to be a Science educator. I just don't know if I'd be better off as a high school physics teacher, or working in a planetarium or museum. The latter is much more difficult to get into, but I've always wanted it. I wish there was a way to know where I would do the most good.
