That’s a great interpretation. It’s like being so obsessed with someone who possesses something you also possess (shared possessions), but you have such a hard time seeing it within yourself (as the 8H is adverse to the 1st) so you either hate the person’s guts or are unhealthily attached, maybe both lol. Uttara Bhadrapadas aren’t literally close to death meaning they’re dying, but the concept of mortality is very comforting to them. They feel comfortable with the idea that there will always be a way out of suffering and that nothing is permanent. It is said that UBP represents what comes after an ending such as death, hence why these people frequently reflect on their impermanence in the world. This is depicted with the symbol associated with this nakshatra, the back legs of a funeral cot; coming to an end of life where the body is burned and begin the process of “purification”.

These people also frequently go through major transformations throughout their lives which in a way is a form of death. Transformation can be like shedding of the skin such as a serpent does which is the deity that governs UBP; Ahir Budhnya Samhita who lives in the deepest part of the ocean. This serpent of the depths is associated with the hidden depths of wisdom, endurance of hardships, and spiritual evolution which is why UBPs are incredibly deeply contemplative. I read on one of the blogs here something about UBP and sexuality. I have UBP asc and moon and rahu in ashlesha and venus in magha. And I always wonder if I should be on OF or have a secondary instagram or x account where I can post and earn money through it. As all Saturn nak born, I also come from a poor family. Hi! I would consider challenging your relationship with sex work first before you decide to jump into something like that where most people in those communities identify as sex workers. Sex work just literally is a person who engages in sexual activities for profit. Sex work isn’t all bad, but it definitely isn’t all good either and you should probably weigh out the pros and cons first. The thing with Ashlesha is that sensuality comes easy to them. They can easily seduce someone without directly being suggestive of having sex—this makes them less attached to sex in comparison to UBPs. I’ve known many UBPs to have some rather freaky fantasies so that could further explain the curiousity. You can totally have an OF in a detached way.

As for yonis, Cats (Ashlesha’s yoni) are instinctually disposed to reproduce and go into heat if they don’t lol. Cows experience going into heat if they don’t reproduce as well. Serpents are also associated with both nakshatras and in some traditions the serpent is a symbol for sexual desire, male snakes have 2 pairs of sexual organs for increased fertilization success, and the list goes on. All these things can potentially hint as to why sexual creativity and expression is so embedded in these nakshatras.

why do ppl hate 12h synastry

Because it's challenging. It takes a lot of working on oneself (self undoing) and facing the things about yourself you weren’t aware of. When someone enters your 12th house they can see and sense it all and can easily trigger you by pointing all your problems out or putting you in situations where sides of yourself come out that you yourself haven’t even met yet. Overall it’s uncomfortable. It’s kind of like having someone frequently hold up a mirror to your face.

It's someone entering your life who essentially can see all your vulnerabilities, pains, darker sides, sensitive spots, and hidden sides of yourself that you’re totally succumbed to. They see you past all of the things outside of you that you identify with such as your style, profession, your family, friends, colleagues, your possessions, your hobbies, your lovers, wishes, etc. which are what all the other houses represent. The 12th house is purely your subconscious; something you don’t really have access to unless you work towards unveiling it.

There's nothing easy about 12th house synastry, especially when one person cannot communicate with the other. The key to having a healthy connection with someone you have 12H synastry with is efficient communication, otherwise you guys will never be on the same page and will eventually feel resentful.

how do you feel about someone having the same moon as you

Dated someone with the same Moon as me and it felt like I was dating a cousin LMFAOOO. They were a little too similar to me for me to comfortably date them and man dating another Pisces Moon made me realize how intense MY emotions were, like I’m Pisces enough for the both of us now there’s 2 of us?! Just 2 delusional sad people in a constant dissociative state deeply probing and asking each other how we feel about [insert complex concept here]. We both had the same ASC and Saturn in the 1H too which probably contributed to that super depressing energy, but yea it was a little too uncanny for me.

Good for friendships, but personally I don’t like it in a romantic context. We had very similar thoughts, beliefs and ways of approaching our environment, but overall it was like looking in the mirror and at the time it was super uncomfortable for me because I saw things in them I didn’t like which meant I possessed those same traits that I hadn’t accepted within myself. That relationship overall taught me a lot about myself and it was nice to be in our own little world for a period of time, but yea no I personally wouldn’t date another Pisces Moon again.

It might work for something more grounding like a Taurus Moon, but a lot of vedic astrologers consider same Moon synastry when it’s in the same Nakshatra to be somewhat incestual.

Sexy, but also depends on how both individuals’ Mars is aspected and what house his Mars is in. I have this overlay with a guy and chilleee. His Mars in your 8H might bring out your desires in a very uncomfortable, somewhat volatile way. Can be really good in terms of sexual relations, but could go south pretty quickly. There could also be a lot of cat and mouse chasing between the two.
