“They’re always wanting to go inwards to understand themselves and their emotions better, but now I think they’ve gotten too pulled in to where it’s taking from their experience of living their life.” -Virgo friend talking about an UBP Moon we know. My Virgo friend frequently warns me of doing the same—I'm an UBP Moon.

Being an Uttarabhadrapada feels like arriving just a few seconds too late to catch a train and instead of expending energy by running to catch up, you watch it pass and walk or slow down and stay still, waiting for the next. Being a cow yoni and Saturn ruled nakshatra, our movement is slower than those around us (which is usually intentional anyways) so the sense of urgency that so many people feel naturally goes against our desire to go at a self-directed pace, internally and externally. I don't know if this has been correlated before so don't credit me, but cows are called "ruminators" because their digestive system needs to be processed multiple times before they can fully absorb what they’ve eaten. I think that fits well with how UBPs process their emotions and digests subconscious material.

Uttarabhradapadas witness life from a non-linear, somewhat “depersonalized” state. Our active participation is way more passive than those around us normally which is why we’re perceived as unreachable to others (there, yet not quite). We’re aren’t very overt people either, doesn't mean we're dispassionate or indifferent, we care very much which is exactly why we have to somewhat distance ourselves energetically. I think we also just tend to get swept up in feelings—Ours, others' feelings, your's, their's, the living, the dead, feelings from the past, feelings yet to come, etc. (never-ending feelings.)

When feelings and experiences (especially ones that brought pain) go unaddressed and becomes internalized, UBPs can act out in very volatile, corrupt ways—Our internal chaos externalizes pretty evidently. One of the biggest signs an UBP has not swam to the depths is when they do things to others in an unconscious attempt to make them feel the way others made them feel because those feelings and experiences haven’t been processed or “digested” yet—the same volatility can be self directed as well. AhirBudhnya tells us that in order to clear out a foundation that’s built on chaos, you have to swim down and then work your way back up and that the only way out of a burning basement is to go up.

Something I have been dwelling on for UBPs (and Pisces in general) is what happens when we're devoid of the ability to connect with our sense of spirituality and inner selves because of today's society? I think about how hard it is for Pisces to thrive and feel connected when living amongst people who are so seemingly adverse to nature and inner exploration—Because these limitations are unwillingly placed onto us, Pisces suffers and I believe this is a facet of Saturn's rulership over this nakshatra. We need to be able to be still at times, not only limited to Uttarabhadrapada, but definitely mandatory for us. I've seen and experienced what it does when we aren't taking time to ruminate so UBPs can ruminate a little bit as a treat (haha get it cause you digest treats), just don't abandon your reality.

Notice how all the nakshatra who are associated with eating disorders deal with being uncomfortable

Also let’s think about serpent’s diet : they can’t find food for days so they just eat in large quantity because they don’t know where their next meal is coming from, maybe that’s why Ashleshas are so gluttonous lol

Note to 12Hers: Although I have briefly spoken about this before here, when you are highly critical or have too many negative presumptions of others, you may be reinforcing certain beliefs you hold about yourself. You may not even be aware that you’ve adopted conditioned beliefs because they’ve been so deeply etched into your subconscious—This is where the theme of self-undoing comes up which can either change a 12Her for better or for worse.

Are another person’s projections the ultimate truth and are they for you to carry? Why would you grant the power for somebody else to invade and control your internal system? You can continue to give them that power by inflicting the same ingrained projections onto others if you choose to do so, but you won’t feel liberated—you’ll become stuck and bound by the same self-limiting beliefs as the ones that were placed onto you, ultimately being one in the same as those who originally caused you harm. By paying too much attention to things outside of yourself when you are not secure, that inner critic, those fears and doubts will be reinforced over and over and at some point you may or may not realize that you’ve been battling yourself; perhaps you catch on way too late.

It was never about the projector, it was about liberating yourself from attaching to noisy external input so that you can create your own reality on your own terms. When you hyper-focus on all the potential dangers and pitfalls of the vulnerability that comes with trusting life and others, maybe even yourself, you become weaker by allowing fear and doubt (which are taught btw) to hold more power above your own inner guide. When you begin to have trust in yourself, have faith in the unknown and learn to remain still in spite of external pressures, that’s when you know you’re on the path towards liberating yourself from the complex inner patterns that have held you back and made you (and possibly others) feel small or weak.

Low hanging fruit, but Uttara Bhadrapadas are always incredibly shy. If not shy, very reserved and like to keep to themselves and dislike other people’s perceptions of them. Wrapped in mystery. As a result, I think they can be underestimated and seen as superficial when there’s more than what meets the surface.

Harsh Moon-Saturn synastry can manifest as the Saturn person wanting to assist or guide the Moon person in some manner, especially with providing resources and basic needs, but they might do it in a patronizing way or in a way that suggests that they believe the Moon person is pitiful, inexperienced or not mature enough to comprehend/handle a difficult/complex situation which then makes the Moon person feel inferior, attacked or emotionally scorned.

On the flip side, the Moon person may feel totally disregarded or not taken seriously by Saturn, unable to get their needs met. Regardless, the Moon person is likely to take what Saturn does in a personal way or question their deeds and the reasoning behind them because of the impact of their bluntness.

The Saturn person may mean well, but they can (a lot of the times) unknowingly make the Moon person feel scorned, misunderstood or insecure, leading them to carry feelings of resentment towards the Saturn person. I commonly see a “gap”, disparity or an aspect of “deprivation” in the connection when people I know irl who have this synastry whether it be age gaps, social class, gender, upbringings, interracial gaps, etc. You frequently see these dynamics play out between Moon and Saturn dom natives as well.

Nakshatra observations

People with Hasta primary placements are so versatile. When I think of Hasta people, I think of the likes of Mark Lee, Jackson Wang, Leonardo DiCaprio etc. The thing all Hastas have in common, especially the men, is their ability to be everywhere and in every body's business, always socialising and forming connections with people from all walks of life. If you need help getting something done, get I touch with a Hasta, and trust me, they will get you to all the places and connections you need to get in touch with.

If there is one nakshatra you simple cannot hide anything from, it's Mula. These people are so inquisitive in an investigative manner. They are able to unearth any truth, no matter how buried it is, which goes in tandem with Mula's shakti "The power to break apart/uproot." You can't hide anything from them, they WILL find out.

Shravanas are the ones western astrologers refer to as the weird aquarius. Aquarians are often referred to by western astrologers as alien, foreign, strange, etc, bringing to mind Shravana's yoni animal- the vanar- meaning "The forest dwellers", who are monkey-like humanoids or forest-dwelling beings from the Hindu mythology. The ancients saw them as 'quite literally' Aliens.

You do not want to be roasted by a person with mercury in mrigashira, they will make you cry but nod in agreement with them at the same time. They get creative with it.

I was watching a video and this guy asked “why is it that people find themselves or gain spiritual awareness after they travel?” and it immediately and it made me think about the 12th house and how it governs faraway lands and long distance travel. I think “travel” in relation to this house can be interpreted literally and metaphorically when considering the other themes of the 12H (self-undoing, seclusion, your subconscious, the unseen, dreams, etc.) Traveling to find yourself/self-undo is not only limited to physically traveling somewhere—you can travel by staying still.

A lot of people find themselves/self-undo when they travel solo because they don’t have any externalities within their day to day lives that are impacting or demanding their attention (6H 7th from 12th). Once you’re given the chance to isolate yourself and withdraw from over-externalization, the more you will discover about yourself. We all have hidden worlds deep within ourselves, hence the importance of learning about yourself as much as possible without the influence or input of others because of how easy it can be to absorb your surroundings.

You could say the same thing about the 9th house as well. Traveling (a 9H theme) can teach you a lot about yourself and challenge your beliefs because you are separating yourself from what you know/are familiar with and what you’ve been taught (3H 7th from 9th) about people and places. By traveling you gain new knowledge which may change your ideologies. 9H travel to me is less figurative than how I interpret and have experienced themes of 12H travel.

hey! i just wanted to ask if its possible for the themes of asc to show up later in life rather than childhood? or to show up from late teens to adulthood, or could it be something was activated in the chart. i cant find if this is possible anywhere else.

The Ascendant is you, your physical body, your perception of self, actions, and your personal development so no, the themes of the Ascendant will always be present. If there was no Ascendant there’d be no you.

Transits to the 1H or 1H profection years or when your natal Ascendant is being aspected in the SR chart or via progressions, that’s when when 1H themes will be much more evident in your life—especially if you don’t have any aspects being made to your Ascendant natally.

Hi! hope you are doing well! I wanted to ask you when you are looking at the aspects in the chart, what orb degree you look at/you think we should look at? I always looked into only exact aspect or 1 degree orb, but not sure if that's correct because looking at my chart again I am starting to see aspects I never noticed (like sun sextile lilith 2 degree orb)

Hello!! For Tropical I use 10° orbs. Sextiles tho, 4° orb. For Sidereal I don’t look at the degrees at all and just go by sign.
